Is Bluetti a good brand?
Yes! Build quality wise almost all Bluetti power stations use LiFePO4 (Lithium Iron Phosphate) batteries which have improved battery life. Making them an excellent choice for long-term investments like home backup or frequent RV use or emergency power cuts.
Where are Bluetti products made?
Although Bluetti is headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada, the actual production and assembly of their power stations and solar panels take place in China.
Are Bluetti solar panels waterproof?
Technically, no, they are not fully waterproof; they are water-resistant. While they do say things like "IP65 rated" on the box, there is a big difference between being able to handle a splash and being able to withstand a storm. They can handle low-pressure water jets (like a garden hose) or a sudden light shower without immediate damage. But it shouldn't be submerged or left out in the rain.
What size Bluetti do I need?
To figure out which Bluetti power generator you need, ask yourself two questions. How much power do you need at once? And how long do you need it to run?
If you're a "Day Tripper", you may only need to charge your phone, laptop, drone and camera. In that case, you'll only need around 200– 500 Wh, so your best options would be the Bluetti EB3A or AC2A.
If you want a home backup to keep the fridge, TV, and Wi-Fi running during a blackout, you'll need 2,000Wh+ and high surge output, such as the Bluetti AC200L, AC300, or B300. The AC200 series is heavy-duty and not meant to be moved often, but it will keep a fridge running for 10-20 hours.
If you're a weekend camper, you're camping for 2-3 days. You'll probably need to run a 12V portable fridge 24/7 and maybe a CPAP machine at night. You'll need 700Wh – 1,000Wh models such as the Bluetti AC70.
Bluetti Saving Tips
The "Hidden" 30% Government Discount: Don't overlook the Federal Solar Tax Credit, it’s one of the biggest ways to save, though many people miss it. If you are investing in a large home backup system (specifically one with 3 kWh or more of capacity), the US government will let you claim 30% of the cost as a tax credit. Just make sure to save your receipt and file IRS Form 5695 with your taxes.
Buy Solar Bundles: If you plan to get solar panels eventually, buy them with the battery as a bundle. Buying a unit (like the AC180) and panels (like the PV200) separately is almost always $100–$300 more expensive than buying the "Solar Generator Kit" pre-bundled.

First, check you meet any listed requirements such as multibuy offers, minimum spends, or product-specific deals.
