Cleaning your refrigerator has to be up there with one of the most boring household chores. I mean, is there truly anything more tedious? Oh, and we all tend to do this job just before our grocery delivery arrives, right? And, let's not even get started on that drainage hole that is always filled with gross junk. Bleugh

Well, I've discovered a way to keep your fridge clean and the contents of your fridge looking ultra-tidy in 2026. And you're going to love it, as it costs just $3. A bestseller for IKEA, the KLIPPKAKTUS range is the fridge storage life hack that you never knew existed.

All pieces from this range are crafted from clear plastic, so that you can see what's inside them in an instant. This way, your fridge shelves won't get as dirty, and you'll need to clean this storage instead — it's easy to clean, with only a soak or gentle wipe required.

Paired with its lid, this storage box is great for separating fruits and veggies, for eggs, or even for the kids' snacks. It's stackable if you've got the room, as well as easy to clean, as it can be soaked in warm water.

A lazy susan for your fridge? Sold. A genius way to store your sauces and jars that otherwise live scattered amongst your top shelf, this way, they're all in easy reach thanks to its spinning base. And it's much easier to clean than an entire shelf.

Perfect for your smaller fruit and vegetables, from strawberries to small tomatoes, it has air holes to allow for ventilation. Handles make it easy to grab from your fridge if you're in a hurry, while bear in mind it doesn't come with a lid.

The ideal add-on for your fridge door, this way you can keep this spot well-organized. Who says this space is only for bottles? This way, you can use up vertical storage space for smaller items.

Thanks to suction cups and clips, this fridge storage box attaches to an existing shelf in your fridge, to make use of space you otherwise wouldn't have. It's great for keeping food groups together, such as cheeses, yoghurts, etc.

The deepest of the storage boxes and for $5, it's a steal. It'll fit anything from kids' snacks and drinks to broccoli and more. Again, it's stackable (if you can fit!).

An affordable solution

Why do I love this range so much? Mostly because it's wallet-friendly, with the most expensive item being $9. But it can literally double the amount of storage space you can use in your fridge, within seconds.

I'll be using the 3-piece door storage set so that I can keep my toddler's snacks in easy reach — and in one place. This way, I'm not just limited to using this door shelf for milk and soda.

The lazy susan will save me in more ways than one when I am rooting through the crazy number of jars and sauces we keep. My husband's chilli sauce addiction won't annoy me as much.

I'll be using the other boxes for separating my fruit and vegetables from each other, as this usually is what takes up the most space in my refrigerator. And the fact that these are lidded (which also makes them stackable) is a total game-changer. I can have a little play around with my current fridge shelves to ensure I can stack a few of them.

Shoppers truly do rave about this range of storage from IKEA. And not only is it perfect for use in a kitchen, because it's totally waterproof and easy to clean, but lots of happy buyers reportedly use theirs in bathrooms, too. Genius!

Whether you'll be using your lazy susan for your skincare, or even the suction shelf in your bathroom cabinet for your cotton pads, it's worth seeing how you can maximise your space in your W/C for such a low price. You'll thank me come 6 o'clock on a Monday morning, when your bathroom looks mega organized, and your favorite products are easy to find.

You can also make use of these storage solutions to store the kids' crafting must-haves. From paints to stickers — because they are washable, this makes them perfect.

Can't get to your local IKEA store? I spotted this similar set on Amazon, that's just $26 for 14 pieces.
