The Nintendo Switch 2 is set to be the must-have gift this Christmas, but its high price demands a smart purchase. Avoid paying the full ticket price by taking advantage of the intense competition among Australian retailers for your holiday spending.

Right now, Aussie stores are fiercely battling it out, from major deals at JB Hi-Fi to Kogan's slight but effective undercutting of the big box stores. We've done the work, searching the web for the absolute best Cyber Monday deals on standalone consoles and bundles, guaranteeing maximum value for your money.

Nintendo Switch 2 (standalone console)
Save 8% (AU$54.95)
Nintendo Switch 2 (standalone console): was AU$699.95 now AU$645

Kogan boasts the lowest ticket price on both the standalone Nintendo Switch 2 console and the Nintendo Switch 2 Mario Kart World bundle, just beating out JB Hi-Fi's pricing at AU$645 and AU$715, respectively. That said, free shipping is only available to Kogan First members, otherwise it'll cost you around AU$16 more.

Nintendo Switch 2 (Mario Kart World bundle)
Save 7% (AU$53)
Nintendo Switch 2 (Mario Kart World bundle): was AU$769 now AU$716

JB Hi-Fi has both the standalone Nintendo Switch 2 console and the Nintendo Switch 2 Mario Kart World bundle in stock, and both are only a dollar more than Kogan's pricing at AU$646 and AU$716 respectively. You also have the option of Click and Collect, meaning you can buy it at the link above and pick it up from one of JB's stores, forgoing shipping costs entirely.

Kogan is currently the most affordable option, slightly undercutting JB Hi-Fi. However, there's a caveat: free priority shipping requires a Kogan First membership, otherwise, standard postage costs AU$15.99 and orders may take 3–7 days to dispatch.

Conversely, JB Hi-Fi leverages its extensive Australian store network to offer a 'zero-cost' shipping alternative: Click and Collect. For many gamers, the convenience of purchasing online and immediately picking up the item — enabling them to play games like Mario Kart World tonight — outweighs the minimal dollar savings offered by Kogan. Of course, that probably won’t be a major concern for those purchasing it as a Christmas gift.

Both are great options, though you'll have to decide quickly — these Nintendo Switch 2 Cyber Monday deals are available for today only.
