So you just bought the Disney+ Hulu bundle on sale — here's the 3 shows and movies to watch first
Catch up on all the great shows and movies you might've been missing out on
It can be overwhelming keeping up with all of the streaming services on offer these days, which makes a handy package deal like the Disney+ Hulu bundle that much more appealing and convenient for TV and movie lovers.
Currently, you can get 58% off your first month of the bundle subscription, getting you access to Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, FX and Hulu's extensive library, all for only $9.99 instead of the usual $12.99. Two major streaming platforms for less than ten bucks a month? It's nearly unheard of!
Right now, the Disney+ Hulu bundle is an incredible deal at just $9.99/month. With prices normally at $12.99 after recent subscription increases, this offer is a 58% savings over buying both services separately, through Feb. 17, 2026. So yes, getting both for under $10 a month with this bundle deal is absolutely worth it, and I’m totally on board.
The Disney+ Hulu bundle also gives viewers the opportunity to catch up on a bunch of great TV series and films that they might have missed out on before they had access to both streamers. We're talking acclaimed sci-fi favorites, big-budget fantasy films and star-studded comedy series — if this is your first foray into the world of Disney+ and Hulu, here are the three shows and movies you should click play on first.
'Andor'
"Star Wars" is one of the biggest properties in Disney's arsenal, and "Andor" is one of its best entries into that vast pop-cultural galaxy — "a gritty adventure told from the ground perspective of the Empire's reign, 'Andor' is an exceptionally mature and political entry into the 'Star Wars' mythos," praise critics over on Rotten Tomatoes, where the sci-fi thriller slash political drama boasts an excellent 96% approval rating.
A prequel to the original 1977 "Star Wars" film, "Andor" is led by thief-turned-rebel spy Cassian Andor (Diego Luna, reprising his role from the 2016 film "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story"), exploring how he becomes radicalized against the oppressive Galactic Empire and the birth of the wider Rebel Alliance. The Emmy-winning series also stars Kyle Soller, Adria Arjona, Stellan Skarsgård, Fiona Shaw, Genevieve O'Reilly, Denise Gough, Ben Mendelsohn, Benjamin Bratt, and Alan Tudyk, among others.

'Only Murders in the Building'
Five seasons in, Hulu original "Only Murders in the Building" is still as charming as ever, powered by its plucky trio of podcast-loving amateur sleuths (Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez, all reliably great) as well as an ever-revolving door of A-list guest stars wandering the halls of the Arconia. (The most recent episodes brought in everyone from Renée Zellweger and Christoph Waltz to Beanie Feldstein and Bobby Cannavale).

In case you haven't experienced "OMITB" before, the Emmy-winning comedy centers on three strangers who share an obsession with true crime, one that gets a bit too real when they suddenly find themselves wrapped up in a homicide in their NYC apartment building. Together, the unlikely pals are forced to work together to figure out what happened.

'Avatar'
The latest James Cameron blockbuster, "Avatar: Fire and Ash," is currently in theaters and up for several awards at this year's Oscars (including Best Costume Design and Best Visual Effects), but if you want to go back to where the whole sci-fi franchise began, you can tune into the original "Avatar" film as well as its 2022 sequel through Disney+.
The immersive 2009 epic, the highest-grossing film of all time with $2.9 billion to its name, transports film fans to the lush alien moon of Pandora, where humans have been colonizing in order to mine the valuable mineral unobtanium, much to the horror of the local Na'vi tribe. To act as a sort of bridge, a paraplegic marine named Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) is transposed into a genetically engineered Na'vi-human hybrid body (or avatar) and sent on a secret mission to infiltrate —and unexpectedly bond with — the native colony.
