Barcelona stormed into the Spanish Super Cup final with a commanding 4–0 first-half lead over Athletic Club on Wednesday, cruising to victory without ever needing to push their limits. The comfortable win also gives Hansi Flick’s side extra recovery time ahead of Sunday's clash in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, at the King Abdullah Sports City.
The Barcelona vs Real Madrid stream will take place on Sunday (11th January 2026).

Raphinha stole the spotlight with a brace, while Fermín López, Ferran Torres, and Roony Bardghji also found the net. The Catalans are now aiming for a 16th Super Cup triumph. They will take confidence from last season's 5–2 win over Real Madrid in the final and enter this match riding a nine-game winning streak across all competitions, having not lost domestically since their 2–1 defeat to Madrid in late October.
This weekend's showdown marks the 263rd meeting between Spain's two giants. Barcelona have won four of the last five encounters, though Real Madrid have emerged victorious in five of the last nine overall.
Real Madrid had a more testing semi-final, narrowly overcoming Atlético Madrid 2–1 thanks to Federico Valverde's spectacular long-range free kick and an early second-half strike from Rodrygo. Alexander Sørloth pulled one back for Atlético, making the closing stages tense for Los Blancos.
Xabi Alonso's side have lifted the Spanish Super Cup 13 times, most recently in 2024 when they defeated Barcelona 4–1 in the final. They currently sit four points behind Barcelona in La Liga, and both clubs are also pursuing success in the Champions League and Copa del Rey.
While the Super Cup may not define a season, any El Clásico final remains a high-stakes affair that neither side will take lightly.
