"House of Guinness" is Netflix's latest hit show. While it may have been beaten to the No. 1 spot by fellow new arrival, "Wayward." this new family drama from "Peaky Blinders" creator Steven Knight has nevertheless broken into the streaming service's charts since it premiered on Thursday, September 25.

As the title suggests, this 19th-century-set drama revolves around the heirs to the Guinness family fortune. Following the death of their patriarch, Sir Benjamin Lee Guinness, his brewery business is left to his four children, Arthur (Anthony Boyle), Edward (Louis Partridge), Anne (Emily Fairn), and Benjamin (Fionn O'Shea). What follows is a drama wherein each is left to navigate this high-stakes world of allies and enemies, complicated love interests, and more, fighting both for the business and their own best interests.

If you've already raced through all eight episodes of the new show and are on the hunt for a brand new binge-watch, here are five shows similar to "House of Guinness," and where you can stream them right now.

We'll kick off this list with "A Thousand Blows" — also created by Steven Knight — which premiered in February 2025. This series follows Hezekiah Moscow and Alec Monroe (Malachi Kirby and Francis Lovehall), two friends from Jamaica who are battling for survival in the East End of 1880s London.

When Hezekiah finds fortune in the criminal underbelly of the city's bare-knuckle boxing scene, he attracts the attention of Mary Carr ("Adolescence's" Erin Doherty), the leader of the all-female Forty Elephants gang, but also that of talented boxer — and criminal king — Sugar Goodson (Stephen Graham), who is determined to destroy the boxer who threatens to destroy everything he's built.

If you enjoyed "House of Guinness," it stands to reason that you'll also love Steven Knight's acclaimed historical crime drama, "Peaky Blinders." This family/crime drama takes us back in time to Birmingham, England, shortly after the First World War, where we're introduced to the ruthless, ambitious Peaky Blinders gang leader, Tommy Shelby (Cillian Murphy), a man determined to take his place in the world, no matter what.

Across six seasons, this acclaimed historical series follows Tommy, the Shelby family, and the rest of the crew as they expand their empire and face down tougher trials and ever-more-powerful opposition in the process. It's a compelling watch, and one that's still to be capped off with the forthcoming "Peaky Blinders" movie, "The Immortal Man."

It would feel remiss to be recommending more family dramas and not mention "Succession." Not only does this HBO Max show revolve around another set of siblings, but it's also easily one of the best TV shows released in recent memory.

This four-season satirical (and sweary!) saga hails from "Peep Show" creator Jesse Armstrong and centers on the super-rich Roy family: ageing patriarch Logan (Brian Cox) and his four children, Connor (Alan Ruck), Kendall (Jeremy Strong), Roman (Kieran Culkin), and Siobhan "Shiv" Roy (Sarah Snook). When it seems Logan's time at the head of the WayStar RoyCo media empire is coming up, a power struggle erupts between the Roy siblings.

If you're in the mood for something a little lighter, then I'd suggest you try streaming the Guy Ritchie crime comedy, "The Gentlemen" next. A spinoff of Ritchie's 2019 movie of the same name, this raucous crime series sees the 13th Duke of Halstad, Eddie Horniman (Theo James), landing himself in hot water.

After the death of his father, Eddie unexpectedly inherits the estate... and discovers Susie Glass (Kaya Scodelario) operates a large cannabis farm beneath the grounds, one which members of Britain's criminal underworld are keen to get their hands on. And as Eddie starts working with Susie, he seems to discover a taste for his new line of work. It's slick, riotous, binge-worthy viewing. Plus, with "The Gentlemen" season 2 on its way in the future, now's the perfect time to get caught up.

Taylor Sheridan's "Yellowstone" is a gripping contemporary Western drama that documents the troubles of the Dutton family, owners of the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch, the largest cattle ranch in Montana. It's full of internal family drama, boasts shifting alliances, unsolved murders, open wounds and hard-earned respect, and sees the Duttons in constant conflict with the people on its borders: an expanding town, the Broken Rock Indian Reservation, and America's first national park.

And if you find yourself swept up by the Dutton dynasty's story, there's plenty more drama to enjoy; you've got "1883" and "1923" to stream now, plus more prequel series like "Y: Marshals" coming up in the near future, too.
