I just upgraded to this discounted Wi-Fi 7 mesh system and now my NBN speeds are flying

Ever since the NBN fibre upgrades rolled out last September, I've been waiting for an awesome deal on one of the best mesh routers on the market so that I could finally replace the ageing Google Wifi system that was holding my network back.

Thankfully, I've found that in TP-Link's Deco BE65, a Wi-Fi 7 system with a theoretical throughput of 11Gbps across its three bands (6GHz, 5GHz and 2.4Gz) and which is currently discounted by a whopping 30% on Amazon AU.

Right now, you can grab the TP-Link Deco BE65 mesh router system 3-pack — which includes one main router to connect to your modem and two satellite routers to keep your whole home covered with strong, reliable Wi-Fi — for just AU$764, saving you a massive AU$335 off the AU$1,099 RRP.

TP-Link's Deco BE65 was already one of the more reasonably priced Wi-Fi 7 mesh networks you could buy in Australia, but thanks to this amazing deal on Amazon, it's now even more affordable. Future-proof your Wi-Fi network with up to 11Gbps of theoretical throughput, 4 x 2.5Gbps WAN/LAN autosensing ports and make network congestion a thing of the past with three separate wireless frequency bands.

In our review of the TP-Link Deco BE63 (the US version of the same system), we said it "tempers all-out speed with an unbeatable price tag", and that's even more true now thanks to this epic deal.

I myself can attest to the Deco BE65's speed — though my old NBN 250 plan was recently bumped up to an NBN 750 plan, my previous mesh router system was keeping my download speeds about the same as they were before the upgrade, despite the plan's advertised typical evening speed of 750Mbps.

However, that all changed drastically once my new Deco BE65 mesh system was up and running. As anticipated, my download speeds have tripled, as evidenced by my most recent Speedtest by Ookla results:

Needless to say, I'm very pleased with the download speeds I'm getting on my new Wi-Fi 7 network. Better still, there's plenty of headroom available should I choose to upgrade to one of the 'hyperfast' NBN 2000 plans at some point in the future.

And thanks to the Deco BE65's 6GHz band (essentially a "fast lane" for newer devices like my Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra), the network congestions and bottlenecking I'd been experiencing for the last few years have seemingly been eliminated.

If, like me, you've been holding out for an exceptional offer on a future-proofed Wi-Fi network to take advantage of the recent NBN fibre upgrades, this is great one that's well worth considering.
