With Presidents' Day approaching, there are some great tech deals out there. One of my favorites is this price cut on the Logitech MX Master 3S mouse, which is 20% ff at Amazon.
One of the common debates I've been seeing online since the launch of the new Logitech MX Master 4 is whether people should buy latest model or save on the older one. Well I've tested both and there really isn't much in it. In fact, the MX Master's die-hard fanbase is pretty split on this subject. The MX Master 3S is still one of the best mice around, though, and with this deal there's really very little reason not to g for a golden oldie.
The Logitech MX Master 3S is still one of the finest mice around, despite the launch of its successor. Comfortable ergos, stellar performance and a demon for productivity. With 20% off, why the heck not?
As I mentioned up top, I've tested both the Logitech MX Master 3S and MX Master 4 — I reviewed them both for Tom's Guide. They're both excellent mice, but honestly I wouldn't recommend the newer model over the old when this deal is factored in.
The MX Master 4 replaced the 3S' gesture commands with a control ring button which, yeah, is fine, but it can be easy to hit by accident isn't reason enough to dump an extra $40 dollars (the new delta given this deal).
Otherwise, core performance is the same. 8K DPI, two lovely scroll wheels. The MX Master 3S also uses a more comfortable rubberized coating which, while questionable for longevity, is nicer to the touch. It's very slightly smaller, too, which may be more comfortable for many. Oh, and if you hadn't already gathered... it's on sale.
