Black Friday mattress sale 2025 in Australia: there are still some mattresses with big discounts
There's still up to 60% off select mattresses even after Black Friday has ended
Black Friday is officially in the rearview mirror but some of the discounts on the best mattresses in Australia are still available to shop.
While Koala has ended its sale, some of our other top brands are still going strong, although Origin's prices have gone up a smidge. They're still good at the slightly higher prices though.
Mattress prices in Australia are typically notorious to track as many of them are hardly ever sold at RRP. That makes the advertised 'discount' meaningless in some cases. Thankfully, we've seen the list prices of all our top mattresses remain steady all through November, so we know that the discounts we've showcased are the real deal.
Below are the best Black Friday mattress discounts still worth your hard-earned money, but don't sleep on these as the prices will begin to up soon. Please note that since queen-sized mattresses are the most popular size, that's what we've listed below, but all sizes can be had for less right now.
Black Friday mattress deals: popular retailers
- Ecosa: 35% off select mattresses
- Ergoflex: 25% off on the 5G mattress + free pillow

Using the code FUTURE20 at checkout, save a decent chunk of change on this 5-star mattress. According to our reviewer, it's slightly softer than what she experienced in her Origin Hybrid Mattress review, but she preferred Onebed's adjustable firmness layer. And at more than half price off, that's excellent value for money as it's currently cheaper than the competition for a queen. If you're not convinced, Onebed gives you 125 nights to try it out yourself. This means you can get the double for under AU$600 and the king for under AU$800.

Eva's Comfort Classic bed is a great, affordable option with this discount for the queen size. Combining excellent support from the hybrid foam and pocket spring design, this mattress doesn't have a washable cover or side handles. Those are, however, small niggles that can be forgiven at this price. Note that the double gets AU$300 off only, while the king has a AU$350 discount — all accessible via the same listing.

This is a bit of a letdown because this amazing all-foam mattress was cheaper during the Black Friday weekend and has now gone up in price. It's still a bed worth considering as it's great for a wide range of sleepers, providing body-hugging pressure relief and great air flow. We were delighted by its minimal motion transfer in our review, and we enjoyed the deep sinking feeling of the memory foam. For one day only (December 1), you also get a free pillow with the code FREEPILLOW at checkout.

Rated as Valmori's own bestseller, the Spring Mattress provides unparalleled support for those wanting a firmer bed base and a built-in pillow top. The mattress houses a traditional pocket spring design that gives the mattress some extra bounce and promises optimal spine alignment. The double size gets the bigger 34% discount, while the king size is just 30% off via the same listing.

We gave it a massive 4.5 stars in our review, as we found it provided adjustable comfort and it is relatively affordable at full price. Now, it's even more attractive with this discount direct at Ecosa, costing just AU$1,190 for a queen. The mattress also has an above-average 15-year warranty, top-notch edge support and provides good spine alignment.

We haven't reviewed this specific Origin mattress ourselves, but we loved its cheaper sibling in our Origin Hybrid Mattress review and thoroughly feel in love with the premium Origin LumbarCloud. So we feel confident in recommending this model even at full price. With a discount, we think it represents excellent value for money as this adds a removable cover and a flippable adjustable firmness layer that's not available on any other Origin mattress.

The Valmori Hybrid II mattress combines memory foam and steel pocket springs with a natural latex layer to provide the ultimate level of support for side sleepers. The mattress is designed with a gel memory foam topper for temperature regulation and motion isolation.
Also available in different sizes, such as single for AU$500, double for AU$650, and king for AU$850.

The S-Shape Foam Mattress pairs the best of both the Spring and Hybrid II mattresses into one memory foam and latex package. The star feature is the thick, high-density foam layer that's supported by natural latex, which is distributed strategically throughout the mattress to target body support and alignment. This mattress also comes with a removable cover and anti-slip bottom. Please note that the double isn't in stock right now and will need to be pre-ordered, although it does receive a generous 42% discount.

We gave Origin's Hybrid mattress 4 out of 5 stars in our review, as we found it a touch too firm for side sleepers and the edge support could be improved. And yet it's a fantastic budget option that would suit some sleepers. Even at full price, the Origin is reasonably priced compared to competitors, and this discount is only AU$10 more than the Black Friday offer.

Admittedly it's an expensive mattress (and now AU$107 more than the Black Friday sale price), but if you want that cloud-like feel when sleeping, without compromising orthopaedic support, this is the one we'd recommend. You can read more about it in our Origin LumberCloud review, but know that your money is well spent here as it would suit pretty much any sleeping style. It is heavy though.
Black Friday mattress deals: FAQs
When do Black Friday mattress sales start in Australia?
Black Friday 2025 was on Friday, November 28 this year, and was closely followed by Cyber Monday on December 1. While discounts take place over the four days, the big hitters in the mattress world — think Koala, Ecosa and Emma Sleep — will likely start discounting their mattresses, bed frames and more, from mid-November.
Most offers will likely stay the same from start to finish over the course of the month, so you should have plenty of time to keep your eyes peeled and wallet ready for a good deal worth nabbing.
Is Black Friday a good time to buy a mattress?
Yes — Black Friday / Cyber Monday is arguably the best time to buy a new mattress. Not only will you get it for a lot less, but nearly all of the top mattresses sold online and in-store are discounted, meaning you'll have plenty of options to choose from.
Some of the highly competitive and popular brands will slash nearly hundreds of dollars off, plus throw in some great freebies, like pillows, mattress protectors and bedding.
That said, most mattress brands in Australia do offer discounts pretty regularly throughout the year, with some offering up to 55% off. As great as these deals may sound, it's highly likely that any Black Friday mattress deals will be far more attractive than other times of the year.
Can I get free bedding with mattresses on Black Friday?
Yes — some mattress retailers and brands chuck in free mattress protectors, duvets, pillows and sometimes even bed frames to make their deals even more appealing.
However, this isn't unusual, as it's something we typically see most months, regardless of seasonal sales. But during Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales in recent years, we've seen an uptick in free gifts coupled with sizeable discounts on mattresses, especially free pillows. That's why we've found that Cyber Weekend is an ideal time to buy a new bed.
Black Friday mattress deals: Shopping tips
How to choose the best Black Friday mattress deal
Buying a new mattress can be intimidating. However, many bed-in-a-box companies have made the process simple. Some companies even offer a white-glove service and will remove your old mattress when delivering your new one.
Keep in mind that while you may see ultra-cheap deals on Black Friday, a mattress is something you will use every night of your life. In other words, if there's one item you should splurge on — a mattress would be it.
We've reviewed a few Aussie mattresses here at Tom's Guide, and while Koala and Emma have some excellent options, don't discount Eva either. Keep in mind, though, that all brands offer a range of mattresses — some are all foam while others will be hybrid with pocket springs, so choose wisely.
Things to keep in mind before you buy a mattress
- Never pay full price: Black Friday and Cyber Monday are the best time to buy a new mattress or new bedding. Other major sales like EOFY and Click Frenzy pale in comparison to the Black Friday mattress sales. In other words, rest assured you're getting the lowest price of the year.
- Know your return policy: Never buy a mattress without knowing the manufacturer's return policy. On paper, it may sound like the mattress of your dreams, but it could wind up being too firm or too soft for your liking. This is even more important now that most of us are doing our shopping online. A good return policy will offer at least a 100-night trial with free return shipping and no penalty fees. Some companies will go so far as offering 12-month trials with free return shipping.
