FAQs
Does Plaud have free shipping?
Yes! Plaud offers free shipping on all orders to the 48 contiguous United States. Plaud does not ship to P.O boxes, APO, FPO or DPO addresses.
Can I use Plaud without a subscription?
Yes. Every Plaud device includes a free Starter Plan with 300 transcription minutes per month. You can record, transcribe and summarize without paying a dime for a subscription. However, for more minutes, features and storage, you will need a subscription.
Is Plaud HIPAA compliant?
Yes. Plaud has a HIPAA Validation Report, and its compliance documentation is available through the Drata Trust Center. Plaud says HIPAA compliance applies to all their plans.
Does Plaud work with Airpods?
Yes, with Plaud Desktop for Zoom or Teams meetings. However, Plaud Note and Note Pro don't support AirPods or other headphones for recording phone calls because the device needs to capture both sides of the conversation through its contact sensor.
Does Plaud work with Android?
Yes. The Plaud mobile app is available for Android. Turn on Bluetooth and, on some Android phones, Location access so the app can find and connect to your Plaud device.
Plaud Saving Tips
Pay Annually: This is honestly the biggest saving at Plaud, the Pro Plan costs $17.99/month on a monthly billing cycle, which cuts down to $8.33/month when billed annually, which saves a whopping 54%. The Unlimited plan costs $29.99/month, or $19.99/month billed annually, a 33% saving over a year. If you plan on using Plaud a bunch, it's a no-brainer to sign up for annual payments.
Try the Free Plan First: Every Plaud device comes with the Starter plan at no extra cost to you; this includes 300 minutes of transcription per month, so you can use your device without the need for a paid subscription. If you find you need more, then sign up for a Pro plan (ideally annually), and if you do cancel, your transcripts aren't deleted.
Education Discount: Students and educators can get 10% off their order at Plaud after verifying their status through ID.me, Student Beans or GoCertify. Given how annoying manual note-taking can be in university, it's a great offer.
Services Discount: Healthcare workers, active military and veterans, and first responders can also get 10% off their order at Plaud as a thank you for their service. You will need to verify your work status via ID.me or GovX beforehand.
Refer a Friend: If you know someone who already owns a Plaud, buying through their referral link takes 10% off the Note Pro, Note, NotePin S or NotePin automatically, with no code needed. And each friend referred who buys a Plaud gets you a free month of the Unlimited plan (up to five referrals).
Seasonal Sales: Plaud is a tech company, and the best time to buy tech is almost always during seasonal sales such as Black Friday and Cyber Monday; they also offer deals around the Amazon Big Deal Days and Prime Day.
Bulk Pricing: Are you buying for your team or office? Bulk pricing applies automatically at Plaud, and the price per device lowers whenever you buy several of the same model, saving up to 13% per Plaud.

How we source coupon codes
The coupons you’ll find on Tom’s Guide have been sourced by our dedicated coupons team, who use the web, our relationships with retailers, & our affiliate networks to find the latest codes. The offers on each coupon page are updated every few days to ensure we feature the freshest ways to save, and our commercial team (based in London) also sources exclusive codes and sales info directly from some of the biggest retailers around.
How we test coupon codes
All the coupon codes we list on our pages have been tested by our deals & offers teams to check they work as intended before they’ve been uploaded. You’ll find a wide range of coupons on Tom’s Guide, including free shipping offers, student discounts, and savings on various kinds of products.
To ensure that all listed codes are available to use, we don’t include any one-time use or user-specific coupons. We also provide as much information as we can to keep things as clear as possible - any expiry dates or terms & conditions will be listed alongside the code. Look for the ‘Terms & Conditions’ text - you’ll be able to click this to expand this section for more details.
What to do if a coupon code doesn’t work
We take care to only list tried & tested coupons on our pages, so all codes should be active and confer the listed discount or deal. However, although we keep up to date with expiry dates and any terms & conditions, sometimes retailers change these before we can update our pages.
Should a coupon fail to work as expected, check you meet any listed requirements. These can include minimum spends, multibuy offers, or product-specific promotions (i.e. 10% off selected tablets). You can view all associated requirements by clicking “View terms and conditions” below your code.
If this does not solve your issue, you can contact our customer service team by emailing coupons.tomsguide@futurenet.com. Make sure to let us know which coupon you were trying to use and which page this was listed on, and we’ll be in touch to help as soon as possible.
How we make money
Tom’s Guide makes money from coupons through a commission-based model. We have agreements in place with each retailer on our site - for every purchase made using one of our coupons or deals, we earn a small percentage of the order total back in commission.
Thanks to this model, we can save our customers money without charging them a thing. You won’t pay a penny to get the discounts listed on our pages, so whichever code or deal you choose, you’ll get exactly what it says on the tin.
