The Garmin Black Friday deals are incredibly good this year, with pretty much every watch in the brand’s line-up reduced right now.
I expected most older Garmin models to get a discount, but the deals have actually spread to some of the newer watches released this year, including the Garmin Fenix 8 Pro.
This is the flagship watch in Garmin’s line-up and it only came out in September, so to see the Fenix 8 Pro reduced to $1,099 at Amazon is certainly a pleasant surprise, but I still maintain the standard Fenix 8 is better value for most people.
The Garmin Fenix 8 Pro AMOLED is available in 47mm and 51mm sizes and offers LTE and satellite connectivity on top of its best-in-class sports tracking and navigation features.
It’s the AMOLED version of the Fenix 8 Pro that’s reduced on Amazon right now, and only the smaller 47mm model, which is the one I tested.
This deal only reduces the Garmin Fenix 8 Pro by $100, but given how new the watch is I’m shocked there’s any kind of deal available on it at all.
I recently ran a marathon with the Garmin Fenix 8 Pro and was impressed by the extra connectivity features it has compared with the standard Fenix 8. Its high price does make it a hard sell (even though the Fenix 8 Pro is the most feature-rich sports watch available), so any savings are welcome.
It’s the AMOLED version of the Fenix 8 Pro that’s reduced on Amazon right now, and only the smaller 47mm model, which is the one I tested. Along with all of Garmin’s exceptional sports tracking and navigation features, it also has LTE and satellite connectivity, so you can stay in touch with the world and use its safety features when off the grid.
However, even with this discount, I’d be tempted to opt for the Garmin Fenix 8 in the sale myself. You can get the Garmin Fenix 8 AMOLED for $749 at Amazon right now, which is also its lowest ever price.
Although it doesn’t have the connectivity features you get from the Fenix 8 Pro, the Fenix 8 has everything else, and it’s also a little thinner and lighter than the Pro model. My Garmin Fenix 8 vs Garmin Fenix 8 Pro comparison has more info on the key differences between the two watches.
Either way, if you’ve been holding out for Black Friday to get a deal on one of the best Garmin watches, your patience has certainly been rewarded.
