The Hoka Mach 6 is a lightweight and versatile trainer that I go back to again and again when I'm not testing something new. Both the men's and women's shoe are available in a wide range of colors and sizes in the sale.

One color of the men's Arahi 8 is reduced right now, and I urge anyone who needs a stability shoe to check it out. The Arahi 8 has a comfortable, smooth ride with added support that I enjoyed even as a neutral runner. It was one of the most pleasant surprises of 2025 for me.

One color of the men's Challenger 8 is reduced in the Hoka sale, with plenty of sizes still in stock. I love the shoe for its versatility, because it grips well on both roads and light trails, and is comfortable for runs of any distance. It's also a great hiking shoe, and a sneaker that's ideal for holidays because you can wear it both during and outside your runs.

I rate the Hoka Speedgoat 6 as the best trail-running shoe for most people, thanks to its comfortable ride and reliable grip on a range of terrain. One color of the women's shoe is on sale in a wide range of sizes.

The Hoka Mach X2 is an exceptional all-rounder, with a high stack of springy foam and a plastic plate in the midsole. It's great for easy and fast runs alike, and also a good racing option. I used the Mach X2 extensively during my own marathon training, and the only real update on the newer Mach X3 is a more comfortable upper.
