Does Trek offer free shipping?
Yes, Trek offers free standard ground shipping on orders over $49 for gear, apparel, and components. However, for complete bikes, home delivery costs vary by size and distance. You can also have your bike shipped to a local authorised Trek retailer at no extra charge.
What is the Trek warranty policy?
Trek offers one of the best warranties in the cycling industry called the Trek Care program. They provide a lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship on: framesets, main frames, full-suspension swing arms.
They also offer they offer a 2-year warranty on apparel, parts, accessories, rear suspension linkage components, electric bike motors/batteries, and original paint and decals.
Do Trek Bikes ever go on sale?
Yes, Trek has several sales throughout the year at pretty predictable times, one big time to save is at the end of the professional road cycling season, which usually concludes in mid-October. Then in November, there is the Black Friday sale, Christmas, and the beginning of Spring, also see good sales.
Do Trek bikes come with pedals?
It depends on the type of bike you buy, Hybrid, Commuter, and Entry-Level Bikes such as such as the Trek FX series, Dual Sport, Verve, or the Marlin mountain bikes typically do come with basic flat plastic or alloy pedals right out of the box.
High-End Road and Mountain Bikes like the Domane, Madone, Émonda, or mountain bikes like the Fuel EX or Supercaliber do not come with pedals.
This is standard across the entire cycling industry as pedals and clipless systems become a more personal preference and sizes vary with shoe brands etc.

Red Barn Refresh: Trek runs a used bike program called Red Barn Refresh. Instead of risking a purchase on Facebook Marketplace or Craigslist, you can buy directly from Trek's factory-certified pre-owned stock. These bikes go through a 151-point inspection, receive a full tune-up, and come with Trek’s standard lifetime frame warranty. By shopping for certified refurbished you can often get between 30% to 50% off the original retail price on high-end road, mountain, and e-bikes.
Shop the Sale: Never pay full price for gear without checking Trek's permanent Sale and Clearance section first. Because Trek releases new bike models and apparel designs every year, they mark down factory overstock, outgoing bike colors, and past-season clothing. You can find big discounts on premium Bontrager helmets, cycling shoes, and components.
Check for a Trek Clearance Center: Trek has begun opening dedicated Trek Clearance Centers in select locations across the United States (such as in California, Maryland, and Nebraska). If you live near one you can score up to 50% off clearance bikes and up to 75% off cycling apparel and accessories.
In-Store Pickup: Trek's shipping fees for complete bikes can be expensive if you choose direct-to-home delivery. To get past this fee, select Ship to Store at checkout. Trek will ship the bike to a local authorized dealer for free, and a professional mechanic will assemble and tune it for you at no extra charge.
Kids' Bike Trade-Up Program: If you are buying for a growing child, Trek offers a great Trade-Up Program. When your kid(s) outgrow their current Trek bike, you can bring it back to a participating dealer. They will evaluate its condition and give you store credit, often up to 50% of the original purchase price, to use directly toward the purchase of a new, larger Trek kids' bike.
