Earlier this week, Verizon accidentally posted details on the HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE on the DroidDoes.com website. The details were subsequently removed. A Verizon spokesperson issued the following statement to Wired in regards to the mistaken posting: “The information was removed from our site this morning. We have nothing to share at this point.”
According to the posting, the phone will feature a 4-inch Super-LCD with 960x540 resolution, a 1.2 GHz processor, 1 GB of RAM, and 8 GB of internal storage, all specs that really don’t turn the head for a second look.
The phone apparently will also come with a micro-SD slot for additional memory, along with an 8 Megapixel rear-facing camera and a VGA front-facing camera. The phone will, as HTC phones have continued to feature as a marketing scheme, feature Dr. Dre’s Beatz Audio sound-boosting technology.
Overall, the Droid 4 Incredible LTE’s leaked specs only marginally improve on its predecessors’ hardware. Whether or not it will live up to the ‘Incredible’ name might be a tough break.
