The 65-inch LG B5 OLED just got slashed to its lowest price ever — and it's under $1,000 ahead of Black Friday

Black Friday deals are getting closer and closer, but you might be surprised by how many incredible deals are already available across retailers. These discounts extend even to our favorite OLED TVs, bringing some of the most feature-rich displays to their lowest prices ahead of the sales season.

Case in point is the LG B5 OLED TV. Right now, you can get the 65-inch LG B5 OLED for just $996 on Amazon. That's the lowest price we've seen so far for this TV, and makes it one of the cheapest premium models in the market. That's a hard bargain to beat.

As you'll see in our LG B5 OLED review, this TV is stacked with an immense set of features and incredible picture performance. Despite being one of the cheapest OLED TVs released this year, it still outperformed other sets in our testing lab, especially for gaming and color accuracy.

Right out of the gate, the B5 OLED sports some of the lowest input latency we tested all year at just 9.0ms. That's lightning fast, making Battlefield 6 play buttery smooth. The one caveat is that the LG B5 only offers a refresh rate up to 120Hz, so PC gamers won't have access to 165Hz as seen on alternative sets, like the Samsung S95F or Hisense U7QG.

The LG B5 is also built on the latest version of webOS, which has access to a slew of free channels and even the best cloud gaming services. While you might already have a console at home, having access to Game Pass and Amazon Luna is great if a friend or family member is already using your system.

One of the main setbacks the LG B5 OLED faces is that it feels far too similar to its predecessor. I'd know, since I reviewed the LG B4 OLED and actually really liked its picture quality. The B5 also doesn't improve on the B4's brightness scores, so if you're in a bright room, it might not be the best for you.

Still, for the price, the LG B5 is hard to beat right now. It's a great OLED TV for under $1,000 and offers a robust set of features in tandem with great picture quality to make it a stellar buy for gamers and cinephiles alike.
