Samsung’s next Galaxy Unpacked event is almost here, so it won’t be long before we see what the phone maker has been working on with its 2026 lineup — with the Galaxy S26 Ultra presumably as the showcase device. This year’s event is running later than in previous years, but you’ll still be able to watch the action live as it happens.
Just like most of its events, Samsung is giving you several ways to keep up to date with everything being announced. Not only will we be on the ground in San Francisco where it’s taking place, but we’ll also be live blogging the festivities as well — so you’re in the know about all the latest happenings.
If you would much rather see it all unfold for yourself, here’s how to watch Galaxy Unpacked 2026.
Where can you watch the Galaxy Unpacked live stream?
Galaxy Unpacked 2026 is set to take place on Wednesday, February 25, with the event kicking off at 1 p.m. ET / 10 a.m. PT / 6 p.m. GMT. The easiest way to watch it live is through Samsung’s YouTube channel, though Samsung.com and the Samsung Newsroom are also available as alternative places to tune in.
What to expect at Galaxy Unpacked 2026
There’s been a lot of talk about what Samsung will show at its next Galaxy Unpacked event, but in true fashion, the showcase will likely center on the next-generation Galaxy phones. While there has been ongoing debate about the exact makeup of the lineup, the latest Galaxy S26 rumors hint at Samsung following its established pattern with three distinct phone announcements.
There were whispers about a potential Galaxy S26 Edge, but rumors indicate that Samsung’s follow up thin phone is being discontinued. That’s an interesting revelation because it was set to replace the Galaxy S26 Plus in the lineup, but it appears that’s no longer the case.
Naturally, we’re eager to learn about the new hardware upgrades, but we are also looking for improvements to the software and more integrated Galaxy AI features. Beyond the phones, there’s a strong likelihood that Samsung will also introduce its next pair of earbuds: the Galaxy Buds 4.
Get instant access to breaking news, the hottest reviews, great deals and helpful tips.
Samsung Galaxy S26 series
The biggest announcement will undoubtedly be the three new Galaxy phones: the S26, S26 Plus, and S26 Ultra. Rumors hint that these are the devices Samsung will showcase in detail during the event. While the S26 and S26 Plus are likely to share much of the same hardware (aside from their physical dimensions), the Galaxy S26 Ultra is poised to steal the show as the company’s top-of-the-line flagship and best phone contender for 2026.
Samsung has been teasing the new capabilities of its camera system, which indicate a heavy reliance on AI for processing photos and improving low-light performance. We’re also itching to know which new Galaxy AI features will come to the phones — especially with leaks pointing to a potential departure from years past by making certain premium AI features exclusive to the S26 Ultra.
One UI 8.5

Although One UI 8 launched last fall, the Galaxy S26 lineup will almost certainly debut with a refined mid-cycle update: One UI 8.5. We anticipate this software will lean even more heavily into AI integration and privacy features.
Most notably, One UI 8.5 is expected to manage the rumored "Privacy Display" technology — a new hardware-software fusion that would offer instant privacy by shielding the phone's display from prying eyes. Leaks of it in action show how someone trying to look at the display from an angle won't be able to see the contents of the display.
Galaxy Buds 4
According to an accidental leak on Samsung’s own website, the Galaxy Buds 4 and Buds 4 Pro are set to make an appearance at Galaxy Unpacked 2026. While they might not receive as much airtime as the flagship S26 series, there should be enough upgrades to keep audio fans interested. While confirmed details were initially few and far between, recent redners point to a subtle redesign — with the Buds 4 Pro, in particular, bearing a striking resemblance to the AirPods.
Galaxy S26 preorder deals
While we’ll have to wait until Unpacked for the full details on Galaxy S26 preorder deals, you can already lock in some serious perks.
If you head to Samsung’s website right now, you can secure a $30 accessory credit and up to $900 in trade-in savings by simply placing a reservation. Better yet, your reservation also enters you for a chance to win a $5,000 gift card that you can use on Samsung.com to build out your ultimate Galaxy ecosystem.
We also suspect carrier preorder deals will also go live once Samsung unveils its new phones on Wednesday.
