Pakistan lost to rivals India in the most dramatic fashion on Saturday. They had set a target of 160, with both Shan Masood and Iftikhar Ahmed reaching half centuries. However, some bowling errors in the final over saw Baber Azam’s side defeated with the final ball of the match. The defeat is a significant blow to Pakistan’s chances of progressing to the next stage of the tournament and they need to get back to winning was in this next match.

Zimbabwe scored 79 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in the 9 overs they could bat in their match against South Africa. Wesley Madhevere scored 35 from 18 balls. Unfortunately the match was ultimately abandoned, having been disrupted by the adverse weather and the teams shared the points. A win in the match would be a major achievement.
