Cocoon by Sealy Chill Mattress: twin was $349 now $299 at Sealy
Cocoon by Sealy recently did away with its year-round 35% off sale and reduced prices at the same time. Combined with this time-limited $50 off deal, which gives you $50 instant credit when you buy, the Cocoon down to the lowest price of the year. In our Cocoon by Sealy Chill Mattress review we awarded it four out of five stars and we were impressed that it slept cool, especially for a memory foam mattress. So much so, that we rate it as one of the best cooling mattresses of the year. Our tester found that it soothed pressure points such as hips and shoulders in all sleep positions, however we think this mattress will be better suited to side sleepers.

Why you should buy it

Aside from excellent value for money, the Cocoon Chill is a solid budget option if you're looking for a cooling all-foam mattress that won't break the bank. Although it is cheaper than other cooling options, it definitely holds its own against more luxurious brands.

Cocoon Chill sleeps cool, thanks to its Phase Change Material, which is designed to dissipate heat. That said, if you are a very hot sleeper we would advise paying extra for the Chill Hybrid, which is two inches taller and more breathable, thanks to its layer of springs.

We found the Cocoon to be a little on the firm side and didn't offer that deep 'hug' feeling that is often associated with memory foam beds, making it a great choice for back and stomach sleepers. You're also unlikely to be disturbed by your partner's tossing and turning, thanks to the top layers of foam dampening movement.

Our only gripe with this mattress is its edge support, or lack thereof. Good edge support means you can sit/sleep near the edge of the bed without any sagging or feeling like you're going to fall off, and the Cocoon falls short in that department. But for such a great price and its other impressive qualities, we can forgive this.
