IKEA’s holiday collection is probably the best I’ve seen so far — here's what I’ll be shopping for my home

Halloween is still two weeks away, but it’s not too early to start prepping our homes for the holiday season with festive and colorful decor. Luckily, IKEA has got you covered with its latest Christmas 2025 collection.
As someone who loves interior style (and the holidays), I’ve spotted some impressive pieces that I would have in my home this season. Not only do they have beautiful craftsmanship and style, but will make eye-catching feature in any room. Ranging from snug, festive throws and rugs to striking candelabras and lamps, here are just some of my favorites that I’ll be buying.
If you want to upgrade your festive tree, these glass ornaments will spruce up your decorations. With its tear drop shape, and transparent colors, I like how elegant these look. These come in a pack of 4.
Of course, you can't have a Christmas tree without a nice finishing touch. And this festive tree skirt is ideal for hiding the stand. Designed by Evelina Kroon, this patterned mat is a lovely spot to place gifts, and protects the floor from scratches.
If you love candles, but want something safe around children or pets, this LED candelabra is perfect for Christmas. With its modern design, these four LED sticks will add warm glow to a windowsill or shelf. Plus, it has a built-in timer that turns the lamp on at the same time, and turns it off after six hours. Win-win!
Give your entrance a festive feel with this door mat that has a holiday pattern. It's durable, made of hardwearing coconut fiber, and can be put inside any entryway or by porch doors.
Perhaps one of my favorites, I love this cushion for its eye-catching, candy-shaped design. Made from soft cotton velvet and featuring a traditional checked pattern, this will add a festive feel to your living room.
If you’re after a unique floor lamp, this matchstick design is a fun addition to any room. Made from solid pine wood, its three crossed, oversized matchsticks and dimmable LED light creates a warm ambiance. What’s more, this eye-catching design will definitely be a talking point if you’re hosting gatherings.
