Egypt vs Iran: World Cup Live Streams

Egypt are in full control of Group G ahead of the final round of fixtures. After drawing 1-1 with Belgium and then beating New Zealand 3-1, the Pharaohs sit two points clear of today's opponents. A victory over Iran would confirm them as group winners, while a draw still guarantees automatic qualification.

Iran's fate is more uncertain. After draws with New Zealand and, most impressively, Belgium, another point may qualify Team Melli, but it gets complicated and could involve the third-placed route. A victory is required to be sure of their maiden progression.

Egypt took a while to get going against New Zealand, so they will look to make a faster start here. Mo Salah will start on the right after excelling in his usual role after being moved there in the second half last time out. Iran will sit deep and counter-attack, with set pieces likely to form a key part of their approach.

With four points to their name already, Egypt are almost certain of going through as one of the best third-placed teams even in defeat. But Hossam Hassan's side will want to get the job done themselves.
