Another week on the books and another weekend ahead of us, which means the question of what to watch is fresh on everyone's mind. With so many movies coming and going from the best streaming services, it's enough to make decision paralysis rear its ugly head — especially with Netflix adding a whopping 43 new shows and movies to its catalogue this month.

To cut through the noise, I comb through the Netflix top 10 for recommendations on what to watch. But just because subscribers are buzzing about a movie doesn't necessarily mean it's worth watching. To help you skip the scrolling and get to streaming, I'm separating the gems from the overhyped duds to shout out Netflix top 10 movies worth you're time.

Not feeling any of these flicks? For even more streaming recommendations, be sure to check out our guide to everything new on Netflix this month. So, without further ado, let’s dive into the three must-watch movies in Netflix’s top 10.

'Train Dreams' (2025)

The slower pacing of Netflix's newest original drama is the kind of thing that usually tops the Netflix charts, so I was pleasantly surprised to see it make the ranks this weekend. “Train Dreams” is easily one of Netflix’s standout releases this month — a gorgeously filmed, emotionally resonant story about love, family, and the heartbreaks that shape us.

Set at the turn of the 20th century, it stars Joel Edgerton as Robert Grainier, a woodsman in the American West whose life we see drift across the screen a la "Forrest Gump." Guided by a reflective narration, the film follows Robert as he builds a family, endures profound loss, and searches for peace amid a landscape made alien by rapid innovation.

'Tis the season for light-hearted Christmas watches, and "Champagne Problems" has enough cozy vibes to satisfy even the Scroogiest Grinch. This festive rom-com stars Minka Kelly as Sydney Price, a driven American executive who heads to Paris just before Christmas for an important business trip. Her firm wants to acquire a local champagne brand, and to seal the deal, she'll need to schmooze her way into the founder's (Thibault de Montalemert) good graces.

But on the eve of a high-stakes negotiation, she indulges in a magical night out with a captivating stranger, Henri Cassell (Tom Wozniczka), who sweeps her off her feet. When she learns he's the founder's son and already has suitors lined up, the two become torn between professional ambition and an unexpected holiday romance.

'K-Pop Demon Hunters' (2025)

Netflix's biggest streaming hit of all time, "K-Pop Demon Hunters," may have fallen from the #1 spot, but it's still hanging strong in the top 10 even now, four months after its release. You know what that means? Like that Bernie Sanders meme, I am once again asking for you to give this gem a watch if you haven't yet. Yes, even if you don't listen to K-pop (neither do I, to be totally honest).

Whether you're team Huntrix or Saja Boys, this bubblegum-pop adventure from Sony Pictures Animation, the same team behind the "Spider-Verse" films, is always fun to revisit. It follows Rumi (Arden Cho), Mira (May Hong), and Zoey (Ji-young Yoo) — the latest in a long line of K-pop stars who protect the world from supernatural evils with their harmony. Their biggest challenge yet comes when a group of demons disguised as a rival boy band challenges their throne, but they'll need to tackle their own inner demons to emerge victorious.
