Unfortunately, the brand new AirPods Pro 3 are too new to see any discounts — but the Amazon Big Deal Days sakes event has arrived early to bring the price down on the rest of the best AirPods family. If you're looking for a cheaper way to pick up some new earbuds for your iPhone, now is looking like a very good time to do so.

The AirPods 4 are $89 at Amazon, down to their lowest price ever. Meanwhile, the AirPods Pro 2 are down to $169 at Amazon, making them a cheap(er) alternative to the brand new AirPods Pro 3. Apple's previous model AirPods might not have some of the shiny new features of their replacement model, but they still pack in some great features. They're very comfortable, sound great, and pack in top-notch noise canceling. They even get the Live Translation feature that Apple has just unleashed with the AirPods Pro 3.

The AirPods 4 are the cheapest way to get yourself a pair of AirPods. They're an open fit, unlike the Pro models, so some might find them more comfortable. You also get some great features, despite their lower price. There's Spatial Audio support for Apple Music, for one. They're super compact too, with one of the smallest cases I've ever seen.

Apple AirPods 4 with ANC: was $179 now $139 at Amazon

The AirPods 4 with ANC are essentially the same buds as the AirPods 4, albeit with some extra features and a higher price. You get ANC, as you might expect, and it's better than I thought it would be. They also get Find My, and a little speaker in the case so that you can ping them. Battery life could be better — 4 hours with ANC on — but they're still a solid option for iPhone users.

Apple AirPods Max USB-C: was $549 now $519 at Amazon

This deal on the AirPods Max is one that says "wait for the sale proper" rather than "buy me now!". We have seen the AirPods Max for a lower price, so you might be able get their excellent ANC, comfortable fit, and incredible sound for a whole lot less than you can right now — if you wait a day or so.
