Twitter Has Servers Dedicated to Justin Bieber
We've all heard about Bieber Fever, and we know that Canadian singer Justin Bieber has a huge fanbase, but we didn't realize just how big until we heard that at any one time, he commands 3 percent of Twitter's resources.
Gizmodo reports that a Twitter employee recently spoke to designer Dustin Curtis and told him that at any moment, the pint-sized singer and his following of more than five million commands 3 percent of Twitter's infrastructure. In fact, there are 'racks of servers' dedicated to the 16-year-old.
The same Twitter employee later confirmed to Curtis that the majority of popular users on Twitter have dedicated servers, but named Bieber as one of the three things that 'reliably drive traffic'. The other two were bashing airlines and bashing the much-hated Comic Sans font.

i'm uessing thats complaints about US airports, internationally most air traffic is cheap, reliable, and much less hasseling... that said. unfortunatly most of my travel is in my home the good ole USA so when i have to go 1000 plus miles in a day i just drive rather than give domestic airlines my money

nah, her voice wont break, so technically her balls aren't good and therefore she's not attracted to neither men nor women
I live somewhat near Stratford, Ontario, and even though I'm not a fan of Bieber, it's good to see someone make it big coming from a relatively unknown Canadian town, raised by a relatively poor single parent (unlike the scores of manufactured celebs who come out of L.A. and New York from parents with wads of cash and all the advantages that come from living in a large city).

Jealous much. So many haters on this thread. For those of you that live in a cave with your PC and video games, this kid is a pop star. If you have grey hair, please don't try to understand. Those of you that haven't kissed a girl yet, please see first sentence of paragraph. My girlfriend's daughter talks about this kid all the time. He sings love songs that teen girls love. I haven't taken the time to listen to his music, but I do know he makes millions. The fact he takes 3% of Twitter's resources shows his popularity. Not sure why you people don't understand this......when I was a kid I idolized Troy Aikman, girls followed New Kids on the Block. Again, if you have never been on a date with a girl, you probably have no idea what this is all about.
