With Keen's proprietary KEEN.DRY waterproof membrane coating and a supportive stability shank, you'll be dry and comfortable all day long in these shoes. I wouldn't recommend a hiking shoe for those with fragile or weak ankles — you'd need a boot to support your joints — but if you're just getting into hiking and you want a low-risk, high-reward hiking shoe, I wholeheartedly recommend the Headout.

I have these sandals and I wore them all summer long. They're just the perfect summer shoe. Although intended to be water shoes thanks to the water-resistant and quick-drying materials, the Hyperport H2 perform just as impressively as everyday shoes. I'm wearing these shoes as I write this! I love my Keen Jasper Zionics — so much that I've worn them every day for two months straight. On top of being mighty comfortable thanks to the arch support, heel support, and soft, breathable leather upper, the Jasper Zionics have 4mm rubber lugs, which make them ultra-grippy and ideal for slippy surfaces. Although they're not technically waterproof, I wore them on wet hikes and my feet never got soaked.
