One of my favorite gaming TVs of 2025 just crashed to a new low — and it's perfect for NFL watch parties
Hisense launched one of its most exciting TV lineups to date this year, featuring a string of sets that leverage a 165Hz refresh rate. And, the U7QG is the most enticing of the bunch, offering excellent performance at an unbeatable price.
Right now, you can get the 75-inch Hisense U7QG Mini-LED TV for $1,299 on Amazon. That's a crazy value on a big-screen TV, saving you $700 on this brand new display in time for the NFL season.
This Mini-LED TV was launched earlier this year, offering major upgrades for gamers. Built on a 165Hz refresh rate with a Game Mode Ultra mode, the Hisense U7QG is designed to be the best seat in the house for the PS5, Xbox Series X, and even your PC. Add to that one serious sound system in its 2.1.2-channel speaker, and you've got a powerhouse of a TV with tons of flair.
Hisense TVs are known for their incredible brightness, and that's no different on the U7QG. While we don't have an official review available just yet, we do have testing data on the U7QG, highlighting some of the most bonkers brightness of the year at 2,222 nits in standard content and 3,388 nits in HDR.
The Hisense U7QG is also one of the few TVs with a 165Hz refresh rate to launch this year, making it an ideal choice for PC gamers. Add to that its 9.8ms of input latency, and it's a no-contest option among the best gaming TVs of the year.
We're often critical about TV speakers, but the Hisense U7QG goes against the grain with a 2.1.2-channel speaker system on a 60W output. Still, it's not the most robust system, so you might want one of the best soundbars for better audio coverage.
In our initial hands-on with the U7QG, we highlighted its gorgeous contrast control. Most Mini-LED TVs struggle in this area, especially when put up against the best OLED TVs, but some haloing did persist on the Hisense U7QG.
The U7-series by Hisense has always been a particular favorite of mine. It's nowhere near one-to-one performance with the LG C5, but it sits in the same category, right in the middle of the lineup at a budget price.
This is the big-screen value to get in 2025, but the discount extends to its entire range. So, if you'd prefer the 55-inch configuration, it's all yours at just $600! You can't beat that value.
