One of my favorite LG OLEDs is back down to its Black Friday price of $599, and it’s one of the best Presidents’ Day TV deals I’ve seen this week

We're still a few days away from Presidents' Day, but tons of the best Presidents' Day TV sales are already live ahead of the holiday weekend. As such, I'm keeping a close eye on retailers like Amazon, Best Buy and Walmart.

For savvy shoppers hoping to save some cash on an OLED TV, this year, your time may have come. Right now, the 48-inch LG B5 is back down to $599 at Best Buy. This whopping $700 discount is reminiscent of the B5's Black Friday sale price, and it's a perfect fit for anyone in the market for a modestly sized OLED TV with a ton of value.

Looking for an incredible OLED picture without the high price? The LG B5 is the perfect pick. It's not as bright as higher-end OLED TVs, but you still get to bask in the glory of OLED display technology. Dedicated gamers will appreciate the B5's array of sought-after features, which includes four HDMI 2.1 inputs, support for 4K gaming at 120Hz, VRR and FreeSync.
The 48-inch version of the B5 is a Best Buy exclusive, but here's where you can find the best sale prices on some of the other size options:
55-inch: $896 @ Amazon
65-inch: $996 @ Amazon
77-inch: $1,499 @ Best Buy

The B5 may not be as bright or as colorful as higher-end OLEDs (like the mid-range LG C5 and the flagship-level LG G5), but as an OLED TV, it comes with many built-in benefits that basic, LED-based TVs don't offer.

Each of the LG B5's millions of pixels is self-lit, which means this TV is capable of perfect black levels. Plus, because all of the B5's individual pixels are independently lit, you won't notice the bluish, hazy light bloom that commonly occurs on backlit LED TVs. Even pricey, high-end Mini-LED TVs can't quite eliminate light bloom.

Pricier OLEDs will net you better brightness than the B5, but you're still getting OLED-driven performance, even if it's part of an entry-level package.

The B5 offers many of the same features you'll find on higher-end LG OLEDs.

Most impressive, though, is that the B5 offers many of the same features you'll find on higher-end LG OLEDs. This is especially useful for both casual and dedicated gamers, as the B5 offers basically everything you need to make the most out of current-gen consoles.

It supports 4K gaming at 120Hz and comes with Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM), Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), AMD FreeSync and G-Sync compatibility. LG's handy Game Optimizer mode is along for the ride, too.

Most importantly, all four of the LG B5's HDMI inputs offer HDMI 2.1 compatibility. That's not easy to find on a $599 TV.

If saving money is paramount, the LG B5 is one of the best LG OLED TVs you can buy this Presidents' Day weekend. Keep in mind that this deal is part of Best Buy's limited-time sale, which is reportedly ending on February 16.
