My favorite Memorial Day deals are up to 40% off: 11 items I actually want to buy (or already use)
These Memorial Day weekend deals are the cream of the crop
Memorial Day weekend is here. Also known as the unofficial start of summer, I'm using the extended weekend to bask in the sun and great outdoors — I'll probably try and squeeze in some gaming time on my Switch 2, too.
However, I'm also keeping an eye on the best Memorial Day sales. There are hundreds of deals out there, but only a few that I'd personally recommend. Below I've compiled a list of the deals I want to pick up for myself or that make for great value buys.
I've recently had the chance to try out the ActiveFloat walking shoes, and I can already assure you that they're some of the most comfortable shoes I own. You can grab a pair of the Nortiv 8 ActiveFloat Walking Shoes for $47 at Amazon (20% off.)
Additionally, the Nintendo Switch 2 is going to go up in price later this year. So if you want one, you've got to get one now. The Nintendo Switch 2 Choose Your Game Bundle for $499 is the best way to buy one, as it gets you a game (either Mario Kart World, Donkey Kong Bananza or Pokémon Pokopia) and up to $30 in savings.
There are lots more Memorial Day deals I'm excited about, so keep scrolling to see my favorites.

I've had these Adidas sandals for years and I'm looking forward to wearing them for another summer. Whether you're at the beach, gym or grabbing a coffee, these sandals do the job — they feature a contoured footbed that makes them comfy to walk in, and a hook-and-loop bandage upper dries quickly. Additionally, their simple style complements everything perfectly.

These lightweight, breathable running shorts from The Gym People are calling my name. They have a bunch of positive reviews from shoppers, and have even encouraged a bunch of Lululemon fans to cheat on their favorite brand.

I can't sleep without a blanket. Instead trying to go without one during a heatwave, you could opt for this Bedsure Cooling Blanket. Made from a super thin rayon derived from bamboo fabric, it’s cool to touch and moisture wicking. In fact, Bedsure claims it is 10 times more breathable and absorbent than cotton.

This is the Stanley tumbler I use and it's sticking right by my side all summer long. There are a bunch of color options on sale for $33, which is 25% off. It's heavy when it's full, but it has a huge capacity and keeps my drinks ice cold for hours, which is why I love it.

My TV is getting a bit long in the tooth, and I'm hoping this Roku stick can fix both its biggest problems. First, my TV loads menus and apps slowly, and sometimes feels unresponsive. Second, half the buttons on the remote don't work any more. The Roku Streaming Stick Plus comes with 4K Streaming and runs on the Roku TV OS, meaning it everything should load faster, and it comes with a streamlined remote that'll get me one-touch access to my favorite apps.

Rune Factory Guardians of Azuma packs a lot in. In this RPG you'll need to fight enemies, tend to your farm, craft and more. And for the first time in the Rune Factory series, you can also manage your town by constructing buildings to entice more townsfolk to move in! It's my personal favorite Nintendo Switch 2 game of any I've played so far. (The game originally cost $69 at launch, meaning this a bigger saving than it looks like.)

Providing a lightweight design, cloudlike comfort, and a breathable mesh upper, there's not much more you could ask from a pair of walking shoes — especially with this discount. I've just started testing these and can already say they're some of the most comfortable shoes I own.

I don't need expensive headphones, I just need good sound and good battery life. And these ones tick both those boxes, as they're our new pick for the best headphones you can buy on a budget. In our CMF Headphones Pro review my colleague Nikita Achanta praised their premium sound, excellent set of features and lightweight, stylish design. The only downsides were the weak treble and call quality, but these headphones are amazing for less than $100.

It's not on sale, but the Kobo Libra Colour will be coming everywhere with me this summer. I think this e-reader is worth the splurge because it's the comfiest way to read, ever. It's lightweight, easy to hold and displays book covers and illustrations in color. I also highly value having buttons — my reading experience is comfiest when I can turn pages without moving my thumb or blocking the screen. Plus, Kobo has easier integration for borrowing library e-books with OverDrive, meaning you can support your local library and save money on books in the long run.
