It's Black Friday month already, and a particularly delicious deal on one of the latest and greatest foldable phones you can buy has already emerged. Even better, you can buy the exact same deal from several different places.
We’ve seen the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold on sale for $1,499 from a number of retailers, such as Amazon, Best Buy or Google's own online store. That price makes for a $300 discount. Not bad for such a new phone.
It's hard to imagine the discount getting any deeper during Black Friday or Cyber Monday. The Pixel 10 Pro Fold only launched in October, after being announced in August with the rest of the Pixel 10 series. So it may be wise to pull the trigger now if you're interested.
The Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold is a versatile foldable phone with a super vibrant 8-inch main display and 6.4-inch cover display. You also get a durable design that's IP68 rated for water and dust resistance — a first for foldables — and better battery life than the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7. Add in great cameras and you have a winner.
The same discount for the Pixel 10 Pro Fold is up for grabs at Best Buy. And it's unlocked so you're not tied to a particular carier.
Google doesn't want to let the third-party retailers have all the fun — you can buy the discounted Pixel foldable direct from its own store too.
The Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold is already cheaper than the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7, otherwise the top of our best foldable phone rankings. But aside from the discount, why go for the Google foldable instead of the Samsung?
I'd point to the phone's Gemini and AI features, several of which you won't find on any other foldable. Magic Cue suggestions, Pixel Screenshots and Pixel Journal are all ready and waiting to give you handy automations and storage space for your thoughts and memos, while Google's powerful photo editing tools like Add Me and Magic Eraser are available to touch up your photos too.
Google has also made the inner and outer screens of the Pixel 10 Pro Fold the brightest we've tested on a foldable phone, helping keep the stuff on the display legible even in bright conditions.
Plus, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold also boasts full IP68 dust and water resistance, giving extra peace of mind for durability. The 10 Pro Fold's battery life and cameras are also strong, especially considering this is a foldable phone which has to manage its parts budget and fitting around a big central hinge.
It all adds up to a well-rounded foldable package that only becomes more tempting with a price drop. But if it's not the deal for you, keep checking our Black Friday deals page regularly for the highlights throughout the holiday shopping season.
