Segway's new Navimow robotic lawn mowers ditch pesky base stations and perimeter wires while avoiding all your kids' toys in the yard
It can spot objects as small as one centimeter
Installing and setting up a robotic lawn mower used to be so time-consuming, often requiring home owners to install base stations and wire the perimeter of their properties — but not anymore. Segway just introduced its new Navimow robotic lawn mowers during CES 2026, which all offer "drop and mow" installation that makes setup easier than ever.

There’s a total of eight new robot lawn mowers covering five different series in the Navimow lineup, ranging in price from $999 to $2,999 for residential models. The most notable is the Navimow H2 Series, which has an impressive obstacle avoidance system that can detect objects as small as 1 centimeter.
There's also the Navimow i2 AWD series that uses a three-wheel drive system to climb up steeper slopes, along with the Navimo i215 LiDAR that generates detailed maps with its next-generation solid-state LiDAR.
While the majority of these new robot lawn mowers are specifically designed to tackle residential homes, the Navimow Terranox series tackles more challenging terrains as a commercial with coverage up to 6 acres.

Navimow i2 AWD: Best for most homes
Starting off with the entry-level offerings, the Navimow i2 AWD Series consists of two models: the i206 AWD and i210AWD, which cost $999 and $1,299 respectively. These are excellent prices for anyone thinking about buying their first robotic lawn mowers, seeing that they offer a three-wheel drive system that lets either mower easily execute 180-degree turns — while also being capable of tackling slopes up to 24-degrees.
They’re on the smaller side compared to other models, but they’re more than perfect for most residential homes because they require no wires and antenna bases, relying instead on an upgraded tri-frequency Network RTK fused with vision technology for pinpoint accuracy. The main differences between them is that the i206 AWD covers 0.15 acres, while the i210 AWD gets a little more at 0.25 acres.
Navimow i2 LiDAR: Enhanced AI-vision for superior object detection
Next up in the series is the Navimow i215 LiDAR, which shares a lot in common with the other i2 AWD Series. However, what distinguishes the i215 LiDAR is that it employs a next-generation solid-state LiDAR that captures 4x more resolution for even better navigation.

This is paired with an AI-driven vision system on the Navimow i215 LiDAR that also allows its to detect objects in its path as small as 1 centimeter — like moving animals and garden equipment — though the true test will be if it can avoid small toys left out in the yard.
Mapping out your property is a breeze for the Navimow i215 LiDAR, which easily lets you customize all the areas of your property through Segway’s app. You can tell it to cut your front lawn one day, then the backyard on another. And just like the i2 AWD Series, the i215 LiDAR offers the same 24-degree slope coverage and easy wire-free setup.
Segway doesn’t mention a price or release date for this model, but I suspect it’s going to be closer to $1,999 given its superior solid-state LiDAR system and coverage for up to 0.37 acres.
Navimow H2 Series: Precise accuracy under challenging conditions
The Navimow H2 Series is more of a midrange offering, as these robotic lawn mowers provide accurate triple positioning by intelligently switching between NRTK, LiDAR, and Vision. Essentially, they’re able to operate in more challenging situations — like under trees, narrow spaces, and nighttime without losing signal.
Similar to the i215 LiDAR, the H2 Series can detect objects as tiny as 1 centimeter to avoid them. All of this allows the Navimow H2 Series to run undisturbed, powered by a 2-rear wheel drive system that can manage slopes up to 24-degrees.
No price has been confirmed yet, but the Navimow H210 covers lawns up to 0.23 acres with the H220 doubling the coverage to 0.5 acres.
Navimow X4 Series: More power, more coverage
The final series meant for residential homes is the Navimow X4 Series, which consists of the X430 and X450. These are the most powerful robotic lawn mowers in Segway’s lineup, capable of trekking 40-degree slopes like they’re nothing with their AWD system — which also allows for zero-turn–like maneuvers.
There are dual 180-watt cutting motors that provide the X4 Series with a 17-inch cutting width, which is double over the other new models.
Really, it’s a workhorse unlike no other with its IPX6 waterproof rating, 360-degree VSLAM camera for centimeter-level mapping accuracy, and the capability to mow one acre in about 11 hours with its fast-charging system.
The X430 is priced at $2,499 and covers 1 acre, while the X450 costs a little more at $2,999 for even coverage for up to 1.5 acres. You can sign up for pre-orders starting on January 16 at 8:00 a.m. through navimow.com.
Navimow Terranox Series: Commercial grade performance
Finally, there’s the Navimow Terranox Series, which is meant more for commercial use than anything else with the unprecedented coverage on offer.
Two models will be available, the CM120M1 that covers up to 3 acres and the CM240M1 that does even more at up to 6 acres, with both models offering 4WD to handle sprawling spaces on their own. The Terranox Series has many of the same features as the X4 Series, like 360-degree VisionFence to avoid obstacles, Geo-Sketch to easily modify and select areas to cut, and the same drop and mow installation.
In addition, the Navimow Terranox Series benefits from Fleet Management software that allows users to manage multiple units and access different areas all remotely. Exact pricing for Terranox Series will be revealed at a later date, but it’ll be available through Segway’s website and select dealer stores.
