Roku just got 22 new free channels — here's what you can watch now

The Roku Channel has 22 new live channels on the platform, which you can access via your Roku TV or Roku streaming device. The channels are part of the platform's selection of free ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) channels.

The new channels run the gamut from classic shows and franchises like 'The Beverly Hillbillies' and 'Inspector Gadget' to reality TV and niche sports. A couple channels are more family-friendly with animated fare and several options focus on history and nature.

There are also a few non-English language channels like one focused on the Turkish show Kanal D Drama, and another which appears to be a Spanish jail-based reality TV show, plus MTV Español. Here's the full list:

The Roku Channel has over 500 channels that offer just about every type of TV show or movie that you can imagine. The service kicked off in September 2017 and has steadily grown over the last nine years.

Today's 22 join 16 that the platform added in February. Plus, Roku has made an effort to stream more live events like this past weekend's PGA The Masters tournament.

If you're looking for a FAST service, the Roku Channel is one of the best free streaming services available.

As a reminder, like Tubi or Pluto, The Roku Channel does feature ads which are often unskippable.
