4 top new shows I'd stream this week on Netflix, Disney Plus and more (Oct. 27-Nov. 2)
New TV this week includes 'The Witcher' and 'Robin Hood'
As spooky season winds down, fans have plenty to stream and watch with new TV shows premiering on Netflix, Disney Plus and other streaming services, as well as cable and broadcast channels.
"The Witcher" returns with a new Geralt in the form of Liam Hemsworth, as he, Yennefer and Ciri navigate dangerous new alliances. Meanwhile, "Robin Hood" offers a fresh take on the legendary outlaw’s adventures, and "Star Wars: Visions" delivers stunning animated shorts that expand the galaxy in surprising ways. Here's our guide on the top new TV shows to check out this week.
‘Selling Sunset’ season 9 (Netflix)
The heels are higher, the listings are somehow even pricier and the feuds are nastier than ever. “Selling Sunset” returns with The O Group agents juggling luxury real estate sales, loyalty tests and more side-eye than square footage.
New agent Sandra Vergara joins the fray, while Chrishell and Nicole are still circling each other. Emma’s out to reclaim her narrative, and Mary’s praying for a group chat ceasefire. Expect blingtastic couture, jaw-dropping home tours and the passive-aggressive cutdowns that can only be delivered in six-inch stilettos.
All 10 episodes premiere Wednesday, Oct. 29 at 3 a.m. ET on Netflix
‘Star Wars: Visions’ volume 3 (Disney Plus)
“Visions” returns to its anime roots for its third volume, with nine Japanese studios reimagine the galaxy far, far away with shorts that span from ronin revenge tales to bounty-hunting heartbreaks and psychedelic duels inside an Imperial trooper’s mind.
Returning favorites “The Duel,” “The Village Bride,” and “The Ninth Jedi” continue their stories, while an A-list voice cast — including Simu Liu, Stephanie Hsu, Anna Sawai, and Steve Buscemi — brings new heroes (and villains) to life.

All 9 episodes premiere Wednesday, Oct. 29 at 3 a.m. ET on Disney Plus
‘The Witcher’ season 4 (Netflix)
New season, new Witcher. Liam Hemsworth officially steps into Geralt of Rivia’s boots, taking over from Henry Cavill for the fourth and fifth (and final) seasons of the fantasy epic. Picking up after the chaos of season 3, Geralt, Yennefer (Anya Chalotra), and Ciri (Freya Allan) are scattered across a Continent at war, forging uneasy alliances and facing new monsters, both human and otherwise.
Laurence Fishburne joins the cast as the enigmatic Regis, and showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich promises a “bigger and bolder” two-part conclusion. The White Wolf is reborn, and the endgame is just getting started.
All 8 episodes premiere Thursday, Oct. 30 at 3 a.m. ET on Netflix
‘Robin Hood’ (MGM Plus)
The outlaw tale you think you know gets a moody, romantic spin. Jack Patten steps into the bow as Rob, a Saxon forester’s son turned rebel leader, while Lauren McQueen’s Marian infiltrates royal circles with just as much firepower. Together, they wage war on corruption and class, balancing sword fights with stolen glances.
Sean Bean plays the ruthless, tax-hungry Sheriff of Nottingham, and Connie Nielsen reigns as Queen Eleanor of Aquitaine. It’s history, heartbreak and heroism for a new generation.
Episodes 1-2 premiere Sunday, Nov. 2 at 9 p.m. ET on MGM Plus
