Looking at what's coming to Prime Video in March, it really does feel like it's going to be a good month to have access to Amazon's streaming service, especially if you're on the hunt for a new show to binge-watch.

This month, Prime Video's getting a big influx of thrillers to keep viewers hooked. Case in point, viewers can look forward to being drawn into a new mystery series from Guy Ritchie and showrunner Matthew Parkhill when "Young Sherlock" hits the scene at the start of the month. One week later, subscribers will be treated to "Scarpetta," a chilling new crime thriller with Nicole Kidman. I also couldn't overlook the return of Prime Video's adult animated hit, "Invincible," which is due to premiere in mid-March.

New on Prime Video in February 2026: Top picks

'Young Sherlock' (March 4)

Prime Video's whisking us back in time for an irreverent, action-packed mystery series that recounts the origin story of the world's greatest detective as Sherlock Holmes (Hero Fiennes Tiffin) undertakes his first-ever case.

This new mystery thriller series takes us back to 1870s Oxford, where a disgraced Sherlock Holmes finds himself sucked into a murder investigation after crossing paths with none other than James Moriarty ("The Wheel of Time's" Dónal Finn) at the university. And as the pair begin digging into the mystery, their investigation spirals out into a much wider conspiracy, leading Holmes on an anarchic adventure across Victorian England and beyond —and ending in an explosive showdown that will change the course of his life forever.

'Scarpetta' (March 11)

If "Cross" isn't enough to satisfy your crime thriller tastes, you'll want to lock in when all eight episodes of "Scarpetta," Liz Sarnoff's upcoming adaptation of Patricia Cornwell's bestselling Kay Scarpetta books, arrive in March. This first chapter introduces us to the on-screen version of Cornwell's beloved forensic pathologist, Dr. Kay Scarpetta (played by Nicole Kidman), and as Amazon ordered two seasons back in September 2024, it seems like it'll be worth tuning in.

The show "examines the toll of pursuing justice at all costs," and this season follows Scarpetta's journey across two timelines: her beginnings as a chief medical examiner in the 1990s, through to a present-day return to her hometown, where she investigates a grisly murder. She's determined to serve as the voice of the victims, unmask a serial killer, and prove the case that made her decades ago won't also be the case that breaks her.

A little over a year after the third season left Mark Grayson's (Steven Yeun) world in total disarray, "Invincible" season 4 is flying back onto Prime Video to deliver even more bloody, brutal superhero action.

This fourth chapter of the hit adult animated series looks to be the most action-packed instalment yet. While the planet recovers from catastrophe, Mark's about to reunite with Omni-Man (J.K. Simmons) and take the fight to Thragg (Lee Pace) and the looming threat the Viltrumite Empire poses to the galaxy. And with the series logline promising season 4 is setting Mark "on a collision course with a threat that could alter the fate of humanity forever," the stakes going into this next batch of episodes couldn't be much higher.

If you're craving action, Vicky Jewson's "Pretty Lethal" might be the watch for you. In this action-packed thriller (that's not to be confused with Ana de Armas' "John Wick" spinoff, "Ballerina"), five ballerinas — played by Maddie Ziegler, Lana Condor, Avantika, Millicent Simmonds, and Iris Apatow — head off to a prestigious dance competition in Budapest.

Their bus breaks down en route in a remote forest, leaving them with no option but to take shelter in a roadside inn run by reclusive former ballet prodigy, Devora Kasimer (Uma Thurman). Their instincts warn that something feels fishy, and when those gut feelings prove right, the team is forced to set aside their differences and weaponize their training to escape Devora's lair with their lives.

'Bait' (March 25)

In "Bait," Riz Ahmed's struggling actor Shah Latif appears to be on the cusp of finally becoming a star, as the audition of a lifetime (to replace Daniel Craig as the next James Bond) sits on the horizon.

This six-part comedy/drama follows Latif over the course of four days as his entire life spirals wildly out of control, and everyone (his family, ex-lover, and the rest of the world) offers their take on whether he's the right man for the job. Ahmed is the star, writer, and showrunner, and while a trailer hasn't been released just yet, you can get a taste of the chaos in the above first-look clip, where news that Latif's maybe in the running to be the next 007 hits the headlines. All six episodes are due to hit Prime Video at once, so you can look forward to binge-watching "Bait" at the end of the month.
