Paramount+ is great for finding movies for your next movie marathon. The streaming service adds dozens of movies at the beginning of each month; it just added 147 new movies and shows on April 1. It also adds new movies from Paramount Skydance studios on an ongoing basis.
With so many newly added movies to choose from, though, it can be tough to know which movie to start with. The good news for you is that I've looked through the full list, and I've found the three movies you need to watch first this weekend. This week I'm going with a trio of movies I love from this century, and only one of them is a guilty pleasure pick. The other two are bona fide classics with 10 Oscar nominations (and three wins!) between them.
So without further ado, here are the three new to Paramount+ movies that you need to be streaming this weekend. If you need more recommendations, check out our full guide to everything new on Paramount+ in April 2026.

Malcolm has been with Tom's Guide since 2022. He watches dozens of movies every year so you don't have to watch any bad ones.
'I Love You, Man' (2009)
Genre: Romantic comedy
What's it about? Peter (Paul Rudd) is about to get married to Zooey (Rashida Jones), but there's just one problem: He doesn't have a best man. In fact, the Los Angeles real estate agent doesn't even have a best friend. But that all changes when he strikes up an unlikely friendship with Sydney (Jason Segel), who shows up at one of Peter's open houses looking for free food and divorced singles.
Why you should watch it: This is the guilty pleasure pick, but I unabashedly love this movie. It's one of my favorite rom-coms of the 2000s, even though it's about a bromance.

'The Social Network'
Genre: Biographical drama
What's it about? "The Social Network" revisits the founding of Facebook by Harvard University students Mark Zuckerberg (Jesse Eisenberg) and Eduardo Saverin (Andrew Garfield). The David Fincher masterpiece hops back and forth between the past and present, anchoring itself around Zuckerberg fighting lawsuits from Saverin, and the Winklevoss twins (both played by Armie Hammer), both over ownership of Facebook.
Why you should watch it: Directed by Fincher and written by Aaron Sorkin, this movie was guaranteed to be excellent. But it's surpassed excellent, and is now considered one of the best movies of the 2010s. Most importantly, though, it established Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross (Nine Inch Nails) as some of the best score composers of their generation. Watch this, then watch Nine Inch Noize at Coachella and continue to bask in the greatness.

'Catch Me If You Can' (2002)
Genre: Crime comedy-drama biopic
What's it about? "Catch Me If You Can" stars Leonardo DiCaprio as the life of real-life con man Frank Abagnale Jr. It's not close to 100% accurate, because the real Frank is a consummate liar. But you won't care about that as you watch a young Leo traveling the U.S. to escape Tom Hanks, who plays Carl Hanratty, the FBI agent tasked with bringing Frank in.
Why you should watch it: I love Leo's performance in this visually gorgeous period piece, and it holds a special place in my heart. It's one of my favorites not only from him, but from Hanks and director Steven Spielberg as well.
