Like all the best streaming services, Netflix is home to an impressive and ever-changing library of shows and movies. And while that vast collection of new shows to choose from is a great boon, it's also a curse: how on earth do you decide what to stream next?

If you turn to the Netflix top 10 list for suggestions, you might find a great new watch... or you could stumble on a trending series that isn't necessarily worth your time. That's exactly why I keep such a close eye on what's in the streamer's charts.

Every week, I highlight the three shows in Netflix's top 10 list that you shouldn't miss, so you've always got a handful of suggestions to turn to the next time you're between Netflix shows (and won't waste your precious viewing time scrolling through genres and categories). You can find my three picks and the full Netflix top 10 list below.

This article is based on the Netflix Top 10 as of Tuesday, September 16, 2025.

While Prime Video subscribers are busy streaming "The Summer I Turned Pretty," Netflix has its own teen romance series in the charts: "My Life with the Walter Boys." The show returned at the end of August and has continued to occupy a spot in the top 10 ever since.

After the first season's cliffhanger ending, the show brings Jackie (Nikki Rodriguez) back from New York City to Colorado for what creator Melanie Halsall promised would be a "bigger and better" second season of TV, where she continues to navigate her life as part of the Walter family, and to navigate the complicated love triangle between herself, Alex (Ashby Gentry) and Cole (Noah LaLonde).

'Wednesday' season 2

"Wednesday" is sticking around in the top 10, though, seeing as the first season is still sitting at the top of Netflix's most-watched shows list, that's no big surprise.

After almost three years of waiting, "Wednesday" season 2 brought us back to Nevermore, where fresh friendships and foes were waiting for Wednesday Addams (Jenna Ortega). With the rest of the Addams Family in tow and another mystery to tackle, "Wednesday" season 2 is well worth streaming.

And if you've been waiting to stream the show in full, the second part came to Netflix on September 3, so you won't have to contend with a month-long wait like those who returned to Nevermore as soon as they could.
