How does OBDeleven work?
OBDeleven devices connect to your car, and the app is installed on your chosen mobile device. This then allows your hardware, the app and your car to share data and interact with each other, letting you customize your vehicle setup, perform diagnostic checks, obtain live data and more through the dedicated app.
How do I connect my OBDeleven devices?
To connect your OBDeleven hardware, you'll need to download the dedicated OBDeleven app. The app is free for Android and iOS devices from the Google Play and Apple App stores. Note that there are different apps for Volkswagen Group (VAG) vehicles and non-VAG cars. Sign in to your account, then plug your device into the OBD2 port of your vehicle and turn on your ignition (without starting the car). From here, connect your app to your vehicle via Bluetooth by clicking "Connect" on the home screen. Find your device on the list, and once the app confirms you are connected, you can start your vehicle and use the system.
Do I need a subscription to use OBDeleven devices?
Yes, but all hardware comes with a free tier plan as standard, saving you any fees. The free tier software includes vehicle history and info, a full vehicle scan, data sharing and live data features, and more. Advanced features may require membership to a Pro or Ultimate plan, which is paid yearly.
How much does shipping from OBDeleven cost?
OBDeleven calculates shipping costs per item and displays the charges at the checkout. Orders are usually shipped within 2 working days of payment. Standard shipping is the cheapest and should arrive in 3 - 14 working days, but you can also pay an extra for express shipping, which arrives in 1 - 3 business days. The brand also uses Amazon shipping on selected orders, which usually arrive in 5 working days.
What is the OBDeleven returns policy?
Customers can return most items to OBDeleven if they change their minds. You have 14 days for physical products, and you will need to cover your shipping costs. Digital products, meanwhile, such as plans, must be returned within 30 days, and cannot be returned if your subscription has been used. Note that using one or more features of Pro or Ultimate plans will void your eligibility for returns.
