Massive Apple leak just tipped MacBook Pro M5, iPad Pro M5 and new Vision Pro
Get ready for a lot of new Apple devices in October

It's becoming increasingly likely that Apple is gearing up for an October launch, as a recent U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) leak has accidentally revealed details on all-new Pro devices.
According to the FCC documents (spotted by MacRumors), Apple has filed several model numbers that reference many of its rumored upcoming products, including the anticipated M5 MacBook Pro, M5 iPad Pro and an updated Apple Vision Pro 2.
The FCC is a U.S. regulatory agency that approves the use of communications on devices, with Apple needing to file its products before launch. As per the report, these documents had a confidentiality request from the Cupertino tech giant, but they have been accidentally leaked.
Usually, these documents are filed a few weeks prior to devices being announced, so it's a good sign that Apple is planning to unveil its next set of Pro products soon. Combine this with the M5 MacBook Pro models reportedly being close to mass production and the recent iPad Pro M5 unboxing leak, and all signs are pointing towards an Apple event happening in the near future.
Now that the FCC leak has given us an idea of the next devices from Apple, here's a look at what we can expect to be announced soon.
M5 MacBook Pro may be unveiled soon
One Apple product referenced in the FCC filings appears to be a MacBook Pro, which points to the anticipated M5 MacBook Pro. Only one model number was shown (A3434), even though we should see multiple numbers, seeing as MacBooks come in two sizes (14-inch and 16-inch for the MacBook Pro models).
This could mean that the M5 MacBook Pro models are set to arrive further down the line. According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, the next set of MacBook Pro models is about to enter mass production, and we should also expect to see M5, M5 Pro and M5 Max models in these laptops.

M5 iPad Pro should be on the way
Many of the model numbers in the FCC documents don't include product names, but the numbers themselves can be linked to known model numbers on current Apple devices. With this in mind, it's now expected that we'll be getting upgraded M5 iPad Pro models.
As per the documents, Apple has filed the following model numbers, which are expected to reference both the 11-inch and 13-inch M5 iPad Pros:
- A3357 — 11-inch iPad Pro (Wi-Fi)
- A3358 / A3359 — 11-inch iPad Pro (Cellular)
- A3360 — 13-inch iPad Pro (Wi-Fi)
- A3361 / A3362 — 13-inch iPad Pro (Cellular)
Seeing as these link to previous iPad Pro models, there's reason to believe these tablets will be the new M5-equipped iPad Pro devices. As further proof that we should see a next-gen tablet from Apple arrive soon, Russian YouTuber Wylascom allegedly leaked a full unboxing video of the M5 iPad Pro.
The YouTuber, who also leaked the M4 MacBook Pro weeks before it was announced, gave us a first-look at the tablet, along with benchmarks of the M5 chip (that so far, impress).
That is only a further sign that Apple is preparing to unveil its next-gen tablet soon, but for now, only expect a chip upgrade rather than a full redesign.
Next Apple Vision Pro
One of the FCC documents shares a reference to a "Head Mounted Device" from Apple, linked to model number A3416. While it doesn't specifically say it's a new Apple Vision Pro, an image that was also shown indicates a clear link to the headset.
Even though the file doesn't detail any specifications of the rumored mixed-reality headset, we can at least expect Wi-Fi 6 connectivity.
The next Apple Vision Pro has been rumored for a while, expected to come with a new M5 Chip, a new Space Black color option and an upgraded R2 chip. With the FCC filing, we may see this arrive before the end of the year, but it could also launch by the start of 2026. If an October event is coming, it won't be long until we find out.
What are these Apple devices launching?
Many of the devices are expected to arrive by early 2026, with both Gurman and Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo believe the M5 MacBook Pro models will arrive sometime next year rather than later in 2025. Interestingly, Apple previously announced its M2 Pro and M2 Max MacBook Pro models in January 2023, so there's a chance the next Pro models will follow suit.
In any case, it's believed that the iPad Pro M5 and Apple Vision Pro 2 will be the first to launch, which could happen as soon as October in an Apple fall event. If these FCC filings are accurate, then there's plenty of reason to believe we'll be seeing Apple's M5 chip debut in new devices, and soon.
