This $250 discount just made the M4 MacBook Air an instant buy ahead of Black Friday 2025
The MacBook Air M4 Black Friday deal we've all waited for just arrived
Looking for your next everyday laptop? Well, there's hardly any reason to wait for Black Friday 2025 to officially kick off now, as Apple's latest M4 MacBook Air lineup has crashed to its lowest-ever price.
You can now grab the 13-inch MacBook Air M4 with a $250 discount at Amazon, taking it down to a bargain $749 for what this laptop offers. Even better, if you're after more screen real estate, the 15-inch MacBook Air M4 is also down by $250. Whatever the configuration or color (Sky Blue is a stunner), you'll get the biggest discount yet on one of the best laptops around.
We've repeated many times that the MacBook Air M4 is the best in the business, so grabbing this powerful machine at its cheapest price yet is a no-brainer for anyone after an upgrade.
With the 13-inch MacBook Air M4 now down to its lowest price yet, expect to save $250 on one of the best laptops you can buy today. The M4 chip powers through workloads at incredible speeds, and its bright and colorful 13-inch Liquid Retina display is a joy to look at. Throw in its upgraded 12MP webcam and sleek, lightweight design, and it stuns. Expect 16GB of unified memory and a 256GB SSD in the base model, but if you want more memory and storage you can get a similar discount on upgraded versions as well:
MacBook Air 13" M4 (16GB/512GB): was $1,199 now $949
MacBook Air 13" M4 (24GB/512GB): was $1,399 now $1,149
The 15-inch M4 MacBook Air is also down to its lowest price! So, if you're after an even bigger 15.3-inch (2880 x 1864) Liquid Retina display, you can now grab one for less than the standard price of a 13-inch model. If you want more RAM or storage, you can also get upgraded models at a discount:
MacBook Air 15" M4 (16GB/512GB): was $1,399 now $1,149
MacBook Air 15" M4 (24GB/512GB): was $1,599 now $1,349
After testing the 13-inch MacBook Air M4, it became clear that it set the standard as the laptop to beat. We called it the top value laptop, and it's not just because of the (welcome) $100 price cut it received over its last-gen model.
The star of the show is the M4 chip, which still delivers some of the best performance you can find on a laptop. We got the MacBook Air M4 benchmarks in, and comparing it to other similarly priced (and much higher) machines, it wiped the floor with the competition. Here's the proof:
Laptop | Geekbench 6 single-core | Geekbench 6 multi-core |
|---|---|---|
M4 MacBook Air 13-inch | 3751 | 14947 |
M4 MacBook Air 15-inch | 3799 | 14921 |
M3 MacBook Air 13-inch | 3082 | 12087 |
M3 MacBook Air 15-inch | 3102 | 12052 |
Dell XPS 13 (Snapdragon X Elite X1E-80-100) | 2797 | 14635 |
Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x (Snapdragon X Elite X1E-80-100) | 2448 | 13750 |
MSI Prestige 13 AI+ Evo (Intel Core Ultra 7 258V) | 2714 | 10392 |
M4 MacBook Pro 14-inch | 3807 | 15114 |
Generally, for everyday tasks, creative work, photo editing, and even video editing and AAA gaming, the M4 chip in Apple's latest MacBook Air will be able to handle it without breaking a sweat.
It's also an incredibly lightweight and slick laptop to carry around, weighing just 2.7 pounds and measuring a very slim 0.44 inches. I wish there were more ports aside from just two Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports, but that can be easily fixed with the USB-C hub.
Another huge perk? Battery life. It lasts nearly 15 hours before needing a recharge, which will take you well past a full day of work, with a little more to use for watching shows once it's quittin' time. Speaking of, the 13.6-inch Liquid Retina display offers plenty of brightness and is gorgeous for watching shows on. That's only made better with the 15-inch model if you need a bigger visual appeal.
The MacBook Air M4 hasn't been any cheaper than it is right now, and with $250 in savings, it's a price that's hard to ignore with a laptop boasting this type of performance (and style). As a MacBook Air (M3) owner myself, this is the deal I'd jump on right away.
