She'd make a great pitcher.
We've all had frustrating moments in gaming when we've wanted to throw something. Sometimes it's a handheld, and sometimes we really regret it if we have to buy a new one to replace it (and have to attend anger management therapy). But what if we had super human strength and could literally blast it through a wall?
The incredibly fashionable French gaming lifestyle magazine Amusement has a photo feature called "Overheating" that depicts what it would look like if we could throw our portable gaming devices through walls.

Well, I see they found a suitable purpose for the PSP Go.
Video? Pictures don't do this justice...

Thats a Nokia N97 I believe.
Hah, funny
That's freakin awesome
notice the DS holds up the worst, sure it looks like it fought a different wall, but to be honest i'd be surprised if it didn't break apart in mid air before it even got to the wall.. cheap piece of crap.
They should have used a Wiimote. Then people could see what their walls will look like after a few slips.
Her left foot looks like another right foot.
Her left foot looks like another right foot.
its because she's french

Agreed. Why is this guy getting thumbs down? ohhhh fanboys I got it. I think the DSi feels more durable than the DS lite. I own one but yeah DS Lite would not fare very well and is a pretty shoddy product. A genuine one looks as cheap as the refurbs with knockoff shells that dx sells look. Would have been interesting if they put a regular PSP on there, more solid device than a ds lite or a ds phat.
great shot, i would like to get a hold of that camera, lots of details on the pictures. i am stock with my 3.2mp olympus
Best thing for them...

Not likely, as the article states:

It is a Nokia N97.. I own one and I'm sure it is one..
See, the DS shattered when going through the wall, the Nokia N97 is still holding..

Hehe. Looks like Someone @ the magazine screwed up a layer or two in Photoshop.
I wanna see one of an ipod being launched through the wall and exploding on impact
Guess that is better than having two left feet
Ha.
Thanks for these Toms.
Now, gimme better handhelds. How about a magnesium and carbon fibre PSP 4000? (With a 1GHz CPU, 256MB RAM, 32GB internal memory, higher res screen and better battery.)
That's the ultimate hardware test. Tom's HW should do these too especially on those very frustratingly slow netbooks.
Guess that is better than having two left feet
Oh that's bad lol
I'm going to give some credit to the DS here. The phone just went through drywayll, the DS went through plywood and came through in just 2 pieces. $20 fix. Much cheaper than anger management.
My only question is, why? What purpose does this serve?
Because we like expensive toys break.
Her left foot looks like another right foot.
Amazing what these "photochop artists" can get away with today.
I'm sure MythBusters will want to test this.
Guys... I'm in love...
There's an app for that too.
Nah, the foot's fine. Check out the lateral maleolis. It's in the right spot. The toes just look fun due to perspective.
To throw a DS through a particle board you'll need something more than a fast pitcher!
And the DS won't go flying through it like shown on the bottom pic!
It'll most likely be smashed to pieces before it even makes a crack in a particle board!
new portable benchmarking tool the throw factor, how does it feel when released?, is it of a solid weight ?,did it survive the dry wall?now where is that pesky iphone
