I'm in love with the Saucony Endorphin Speed 5 because they offer snappy energy return but remain super comfortable. They also help me with forward propulsion, thanks to a newly designed nylon plate and responsive PWRRUN PB cushioning. I have genuinely found it more pleasurable since running in them, and they look good.

Anything by this brand serves me well, but the most annoying thing about running has been fixed for me with the Sunriser belt: where to stash valuables. Now, I only head out with a phone (for safety purposes and music), my house key and a set of headphones, but where do I put them? This belt stashes it all, and it's a bargain at $18.

My partner got me into wraparound earbuds when I complained about my tiny ear canals pushing mine out during runs. I've never looked back. There's nothing worse than when you hit those last few KMs, and your music fails you. Your music will never fail you while wearing the Powerbeats Pro 2. Crystal clear sound, long battery life and a secure fit allow you to crank up the volume for that sprint finish.

This is perhaps a cheat addition, but I am very new to the Coros Pace world and just got hold of the Coros Pace 4, which has quickly changed my life (I previously wore the Apple Watch 10, which could barely tell I was walking, let alone running). However, the iteration before the 4, the Coros Pace 3, is now on sale for $30 less, and my colleague, Nick Harris-Fry, an avid runner, loves this range. You're in safe hands with either, but this model is the one on sale.

I have a deal struck with my boyfriend: I borrow his clothes, and he says nothing about it. I actually ended up buying this myself from a U.K. retailer once I had run in it a few times. It's water-resistant, windproof and breathable, which keeps me warm without overheating. Plus, I love the look. I hate overheating while running, but find it super hard to get outdoors in the winter in minimal layers; this is a great in-between for me.
