REI is like a sweetie shop for adults who love the outdoors. It’s packed with apparel for every kind of adventure and stocked with much-loved brands like Merrell, The North Face, Columbia, Free People and more. They also know how to run a great sale, and I’ve been all over the current fall clearance happening at REI.

From Gore-Tex footwear to insulating jackets and cozy fleeces, I’ve found a selection of deals that make it easier to get outdoors in the colder months. For example, the Helly Hansen Odin Stretch Insulator Jacket 2.0 is 40% off right now, taking more than $100 off the original price. I also spotted the Free People Carpe Diem Shorts, which I wear for running all year round, reduced to $27 from $40.
