The 27cm Emma Hybrid Airgrid is the best mattress we've tested. Its medium-firm support and comfort is excellent for light to average weight people, with soft foams that contour your body to relieve sore points. (If you weigh over 240lbs, try the Simba Hybrid below). All of the hot sleepers on our Emma Hybrid Airgrid review team said it felt cool and fresh to lie on. A double is on sale for £699 this Black Friday. You'll also get a 200-night trial and 10-year warranty.

Okay, so this isn't a huge price cut, but a double size Zinus Green Tea Memory Foam mattress for £101 is definitely worth considering this Black Friday. Ruth Jones, one of our senior staff writers, slept on this Zinus best-seller and recommends it to lighter weight people (130lbs and under) and side sleepers. That's because it's soft and contouring, delivering a classic body-hug feel. As we state in our Zinus Green Tea Memory Foam mattress review though it doesn't have enough support for stomach sleepers (your hips will dip down too far) or people weighing over 230lbs. For everyone else, this is a Black Friday bargain worth snapping up before it sells out. Amazon offers a 100-day money back guarantee on mattress purchases, plus free delivery and a 10-year limited warranty. A single size is on sale for £57 and a king is £155.

I had the 25cm Eve Premium Hybrid mattress in my guest room for over two years and several friends and family members who slept on it then bought the mattress for themselves. This is a superbly comfy bed-in-a-box, suiting a wide range of sleep styles. As I explain in my Eve Premium Hybrid mattress review, it isolates motion well for a pocket spring and foam mattress too, so you can sleep more peacefully next to a restless sleeper on a bed like this. Plus, it doesn't trap heat. 50% off is an excellent Black Friday discount, but it only applies to Eve Premium Hybrid double size or larger. Comes with a 200-night trial, a 10-year warranty, and free shipping. A king size is on sale for £450.

If you're dealing with hip pain and want a good hybrid mattress to help you sleep more comfortably on your side, this is it. A few of us have slept on the 25cm tall Simba Hybrid mattress now and we all rate it for delivering a good amount of pain-relieving cushioning around the shoulders, knees and hips without letting you sink too far down into the mattress. And because it's made with foam and coils the Simba Hybrid is breathable and safe for hot sleepers (like the Emma above), though there are more powerful cooling mattresses to pick from in Simba's Black Friday sale. Other Simba mattresses are cheaper in the Bensons For Beds Simba deals. The Simba Hybrid Pro comes with a 200-night trial, 10-year warranty, and free shipping. A single size is on sale for £599 and a king is priced £948.

The Brook + Wilde Suprema is a luxury mattress that features two layers of pocket springs plus a layer of nano springs as well as four layers of foam, and comes in a choice of three firmness levels so you can pick your own just-right feel. In our Brook + Wilde Suprema mattress review, our lead tester slept on the Suprema Firm and found it to be a comfortable bed for back and combination sleepers with plenty of pressure relief, great motion isolation and impressive cooling properties. In the Brook + Wilde Black Friday sale there's 40% off the Suprema, so a single will cost you $777 and a king is $987. You’ll get a 200-night trial period, 10-year warranty and free premium delivery.

Shopping the Black Friday sales for a firm innerspring mattress under £250? This Dreams deal is worth considering, with £70 off a double size Silentnight orthopedic innerspring. The firm support starts with a tufted cover, followed by dense foam and a layer of traditional open springs. This will be a noisier mattress compared to dense all-foam beds, and it will transfer more motion from one side to the other. We also question the long-term durability of a mattress in this price bracket. But if you have a small budget, and you enjoy sleeping on firm mattresses with a bit of bounce, this deal is hard to beat. (For an even cheaper spring mattress, check out this Zinus double size mattress deal for £46 at Amazon.) Comes with a 100-night trial and free shipping. A single size is priced £179 and a king is priced £219.
Black Friday mattress deals 2025: FAQs
When is Black Friday 2025?
This year, Black Friday is on 28 November, which is the day after Thanksgiving in the US calendar. Sales usually start to appear in the weeks before that date, and tend to continue over the following weekend through to Cyber Monday, and many sales hang around for a few days afterwards.
You can't count on sales sticking around for very long, so our advice is to buy early, and ideally before Black Friday itself so you beat the rush. We'll be letting you know which early sales are worth shopping so that you can buy with confidence.
Is Black Friday a good time to buy a mattress?
Yes, Black Friday is a great time to buy a new mattress. Since Black Friday sales became popular in the UK around a decade ago, high-priced items like mattresses have seen big discounts on Black Friday, rivaling or beating sales seen in Boxing Day sales.
As someone who tracks mattress prices, I can say for certain that the best mattress prices we see are during the Black Friday sales.
As someone who tracks mattress prices, I can say for certain that the best mattress prices we see are during the Black Friday sales. And mattresses are the kind of product you don't want to skimp on.
A good mattress can last you over 10 years, so it's well worth spending a bit extra. In the long run, you'll save money by not needing to replace your bed so often. The Black Friday sales give you a chance to get a premium bed for a more affordable price.
Do shops have Black Friday mattress deals?
Major mattress shops have started to run Black Friday in the UK, with some of them being as good as what we see online. Of course, you'll have to travel to the store to find out what they are.
If you want to see your mattress in person before purchasing, we recommend asking the sales staff the following questions to ensure you're getting the best deal:
- What is the RRP of this mattress?
- What is the lowest price you have sold it for recently?
- What trial period does it come with?
- What is the warranty period?
- What is your refund and exchange policy?
- Do you offer free shipping?
- Do you offer old mattress removal either for free or at a cost?
- How long does this Black Friday mattress deal last for?
Where to find the best Black Friday mattress deals
Based on recent years' sales the best place to find mattress discounts on Black Friday is online. We've seen great discounts from the following brands:
- Nectar
- DreamCloud
- Emma
- Simba
