TV prices are plummeting ahead of the Super Bowl — here are my 5 top Amazon TV deals, from Mini-LEDs to OLEDs

We're just a couple of weeks away from Super Bowl LX, and as is the case most years, TV prices are falling fast. Big-box stores and online retailers aren't just capitalizing on Super Bowl hype, however — we're also smack-dab in the middle of one of the best times of the year to buy a TV.

This is because TV brands like Hisense, LG, Samsung and TCL are gearing up to release their 2026 models later this spring. As a result, many of the best TVs you can buy are getting doinked with discounts right at the same time the NFL season is reaching its grand finale. In other words, you don't have to feel guilty about upgrading your TV just in time for the big game.

Roku Pro Series

If you're shopping on a budget at the 55-inch size point and you're looking for a TV that will continue to provide an easy, breezy and friendly experience once the Super Bowl is over, I can't think of a better pick than the 55-inch Roku Pro Series. Right now, Amazon is running a limited-time deal on this TV that knocks about $300 off its usual price.

As the name implies, the Pro Series sets itself apart from low-end Roku TVs with better display technology and a longer list of features — including Mini-LEDs for better backlight control.

If you've ever used a Roku streaming device before, I'm assuming that you understand its appeal. The bubbly, clean-looking interface is easy to warm up to and the Roku library of downloadable apps is vast.

The Roku Pro Series is an affordable Mini-LED TV that offers a simple-but-powerful backdrop for all of your streaming needs. This is the TV to get ahead of the Super Bowl if your priority is ease of use. Its quantum-dot color and Mini-LED backlighting make this TV a step above most TVs in its price range.

Hisense U65QF

If you're looking for the brightest possible picture for the least amount of money, Hisense's latest entry-level Mini-LED TV, the U65QF, should be near the top of your list of candidates. Right now, this Amazon deal takes the 75-inch version of the U65QF all the way down to the ridiculous price of just $697.

In our U65QF review, we noted that this TV nearly doubles the brightness you'll find on its direct competitors. This makes the U65QF is a great choice for budget-conscious shoppers with sunny living rooms and sports fans who watch a ton of games during the day.

It's worth noting that this TV is built around Amazon's Fire TV smart platform, which isn't the best software suite on the market. In recent years, my colleagues and I have found Fire TV's interface to be somewhat cluttered and sluggish. However, Amazon recently announced major upgrades to Fire TV OS in the coming months, so there's plenty of opportunity for the U65QF's software to improve.

Packed with value, the Hisense U65QF doesn't skimp on features or performance despite its price. It's equipped with a 144Hz refresh rate and full HDR support, making both sports and general entertainment look incredible. It also offers Wi-Fi 6 and an ATSC 3.0 tuner. Its class-leading brightness make it exceptional for daytime sports watching, but its Fire TV-based software might not be everyone's cup of tea.

TCL QM7K

Over the holidays, I recommended the TCL QM7K to more friends, family members and readers than perhaps any other TV throughout the year. Nothing has changed in the first month of 2026.

The QM7K doesn't offer up OLED-level picture quality, but the 65-inch version is one of the best-looking Mini-LED TVs under $1,000. Ahead of the Super Bowl, Amazon is running a limited-time deal that knocks its price down to just $797.

Here's what I love about the QM7K: Thanks to Mini-LEDs, it's bright enough to hold up during daytime viewing and its backlight control is excellent for its class. This means everything from daytime football games to 4K Blu-rays on movie night will look great.

Plus, there are enough gaming features in tow to make the most out of current-generation consoles, and Google TV is a robust-enough streaming platform to act as your daily driver.

If you're goal is to walk away with the biggest screen size for the lowest price, I still think the aforementioned, 75-inch U65QF is a wiser choice. That said, if you're shopping for a 65-inch screen, the QM7K is the better-performing option for just $100 more.

TCL's mid-range Mini-LED TV is one of the best values of the year for folks looking for a bright, impressive-looking TV at a relatively low price point. It's not quite as bright, colorful and packed with features as a higher-end Mini-LED TV, but it's much more versatile than an entry-level LED TV.

Samsung S85F

One of the most affordable 65-inch OLED TVs is the Samsung S85F, so if you're shopping at this size point and were hoping to spend sensibly on an OLED-driven picture, this is the Amazon TV deal I'd consider first.

No other TV technology can match OLED when it comes to contrast control; every pixel in the S85F's display is self-illuminating, which eliminates light bloom and imbues the picture with a wondrous sense of depth. If there are drones in the sky creating a Pepsi logo during the Super Bowl Halftime Show, you better believe that Pepsi logo will look incredible on an OLED TV.

If you're looking for a little more oomph on a 65-inch OLED, the next option on this list might be a better fit: the LG C5.

Samsung's most affordable OLED TV of 2025 may not be as much of a showstopper as the brand's flagship-level S95F OLED, but it's one of the cheapest ways to lock down a 65-inch OLED TV before the NFL's biggest night. It also comes with a useful array of gaming enhancements and streaming features, making it a terrific value pick.

LG C5

If I was in the market for a new TV for football games, movie nights and beyond, the first on my personal list would be the LG C5, our best-reviewed TV of 2025. Amazon is listing it at $1,396 right now, and while it isn't labeled as a sale price, this set debuted at $2,699, which makes the C5 an official touchdown. (Sorry, I couldn't help myself.)

The C5 boasts all of the benefits of OLED technology (like perfect black levels, pixel-level dimming and ultra-wide viewing angles) all while offering better highlight brightness than what you'll find on cheaper, entry-level OLED TVs.

LG's mid-range OLED TV is nowhere near as pricey as higher-end OLED TVs, either, which gives it wide appeal. If you're hosting friends and family for the Super Bowl, this TV has a higher chance of wowing your guests than any other set on this list.

And, when the last bits of confetti have fallen and the Vince Lombardi Trophy is on its way back to the winning city, the C5 will keep wowing you and your guests. It's a versatile, high-performance TV with very few blemishes.

In our five-star LG C5 review, we showered this OLED TV with praise for its sensational performance, its class-leading selection of features and its approachable price point. The C5 delivers all of the benefits we've come to expect from OLED displays, but its design, software and overall experience is the result of LG's excellent engineering.
