Looking for an OLED TV but don't want to spend an arm and a leg? I've found a seriously great deal on one of Samsung's cheapest models, bringing the price down so much that it's even less than the LG B5 OLED.

Right now, the 65-inch Samsung S84F OLED TV is $949 at Best Buy. That slashes over $1,000 off the price tag, making it an excellent budget pick if you're in the market for an OLED TV. It's also $50 cheaper than the LG B5, but it's only available at Best Buy and probably won't last very long.

The entry-level model in Samsung's 2025 OLED range is the S85F. It's equipped with the NQ4 AI Gen2 processor, a 120Hz refresh rate, enhanced 4K upscaling, and Color Booster Pro. Right now, you can grab it for a serious discount if you're looking to get a big-screen OLED TV for less, making it an even better value.

The LG B5 is the perfect budget buy. It's not as bright as higher-end OLED TVs, but you still get to bask in the glory of OLED display technology. Perfect black levels and ultra-wide viewing angles will have everything from movies to sports looking fantastic. Dedicated gamers will appreciate the B5's array of sought-after features, which includes four HDMI 2.1 inputs, support for 4K gaming at 120Hz, VRR, and FreeSync.

With all the amazing deals going strong, it already feels like Black Friday is in full swing. Best Buy is bringing the savings early this time, and it arrives in the form of one of Samsung's newest and cheapest OLED TVs, the S84F.

Not to be confused with the S85F OLED TV, the Samsung S84F OLED TV sits at the very bottom of Samsung's OLED lineup. Its next closest rival would probably be the LG B5 OLED, not only given their pricing but also the sheer similarities offered in design and performance.

The B5 and S84F share the same WOLED panel and leverage a 20Hz refresh rate, making either option an ideal choice for console gamers. However, the Samsung S84F stands out with its slew of exciting AI advancements, which Samsung has put on full display the entire year, highlighted best in improved upscaling, voice search, and other assorted tasks.

Although we don't have any testing data, we can infer that the S84F has similar results to the LG B5, which didn't fare too well in both brightness and color volume. In a 10% window, the B5 was capable of hitting just over 600 nits in HDR, which isn't ideal — even for an OLED TV.

You also can't forget the Samsung S84F doesn't support Dolby Vision, like its counterparts. I still feel the budget price outweighs these woes, though, as you won't find a 2025 OLED TV at this price. It's a unicorn and is built on exceptional software that makes it a serious counter to the LG B5.
