Black Friday is just days away, meaning TV deals are at their lowest and hottest right now. If you're trying to get your hands on an OLED under $1,000, now is the perfect time, with so many options to choose from. I've spotted two 65-inch options that make for great upgrades this holiday season, but they won't last long.

Right now, you can get the 65-inch Samsung S84F OLED TV for just $899 at Best Buy. That's a steal, and the lowest price we've seen for this budget OLED. Best of all? It's $100 cheaper than the LG B5 OLED, which is $999 at Best Buy, giving it a leg up against the competition.

The entry-level model in Samsung's 2025 OLED range is the S85F. It's equipped with the NQ4 AI Gen2 processor, a 120Hz refresh rate, enhanced 4K upscaling, and Color Booster Pro. Right now, you can grab it for a serious discount on Black Friday, making it even cheaper than the LG B5.

The LG B5 is the perfect budget buy. It's not as bright as higher-end OLED TVs, but you still get to bask in the glory of OLED display technology. Perfect black levels and ultra-wide viewing angles will have everything from movies to sports looking fantastic. Dedicated gamers will appreciate the B5's array of sought-after features, including four HDMI 2.1 inputs, 4K gaming at 120Hz, VRR, and FreeSync.

The Samsung S84F OLED TV isn't a powerhouse by any means. Given its budget pricing, you can expect considerable leeway in its metrics, even for an OLED TV. Although we haven't tested the Samsung S84F, it's likely on par with the LG B5, as they both use the same WOLED panel.

This means you won't get the superior color volume and accuracy that you would from a TV with a QD-OLED panel, such as the Samsung S90F. However, the S84F still has excellent picture quality and color accuracy. I saw the budget OLED TV in action when I visited Samsung's headquarters in South Korea last year and was thoroughly impressed.

Like other OLEDs, you can expect the S84F to have a near-infinite contrast ratio, ensuring darker scenes pop on the screen. I was also blown away by the S84F's upscaling, enhancing 1080p news broadcasts to look clear and crisp in 4K. If you're a fan of physical media like me, the S84F will work wonders in your entertainment setup.

Tizen OS also allows the Samsung S84F to stand out. Samsung has considerably improved the quality and appearance of its interface, giving it a zoomed-in look and offering several major upgrades over competitors, such as Google and Roku. The Samsung S84F will also see updates over the next seven years, so it will feel almost brand new even into the 2030s.

Surprisingly, the Samsung S84F is cheaper than the LG B5 OLED right now. I wasn't a huge fan of LG's budget OLED, as it feels far too similar to the same model from last year, but it does support Dolby Vision, unlike the Samsung S84F. So, if you're keen on having high-quality HDR content, the LG B5 might be the better budget OLED for you.
