Fall is here, which means we're all shifting our attention to staying warm and cozy. Enter, weighted blankets. Happily, you can now buy a Layla Weighted Blanket for $99 from Layla (was $199.) That matches the lowest price we've seen on this blanket, making now an excellent time to buy.
As well as providing a comfortable layer to snuggle beneath, some research suggests that weighted blankets can help ease anxiety. We rate the Layla Weighted Blanket as one of our favorite weighted blankets for relieving stress and anxiety, thanks to its 15lb weight (which feels like a calming hug), glass bead fill and comfortable dual-sided design.
$100 off is an excellent saving, but is this the right weighted blanket for you? Let's take a closer look.
Layla Weighted Blanket: was $199 now $99 at Layla
The Layla Weighted Blanket is our top pick for those with anxiety, thanks to its 15lb weight, dual-sided design and glass bead fill that's held in place with Layla's trademark hexagonal stitching. The top side is made from cotton and the bottom features polyester faux-fur, making this blanket a cozy addition to your bedroom all year round. While you'll normally pay $199 at full MSRP, there's currently $100 off. That matches the lowest price we've seen on this blanket. Need something weightier? It's also available in a 20lb and 25lb weight. Shipping and returns are free, plus it comes with a 30 night sleep trial and lengthy five year warranty.

Is this weighted blanket right for you?
We love the dual sided design of this cover. On one side you'll find a 300-thread count cotton, which feels soft and smooth. The other side is crafted from polyester faux-fur, giving a cozier feel.
But it's what's going on inside the blanket that gives the Layla Weighted Blanket its unique feel; 15lb worth of high-density glass microbeads are held in place by Layla's signature hexagonal pocket stitching. This keeps the weight and the pressure of the blanket evenly distributed across your body, resulting in a calming hug feeling.
We also love that this blanket is machine washable, making keeping it clean and fresh conveniently easy. Layla also offers solid sleep benefits with a 30-day free trial and a five-year warranty.
The only downside to this blanket is that it's on the warmer side. While that's perfect for those looking to hibernate through the cooler months, it could be too warm for those prone to overheating.
If you're looking for a cooler alternative...
Cooling Weighted Blanket: was $189 now $109 at Gravity
This cooling weighted blanket uses a breathable, moisture-wicking technology to help provide all the calming benefits of a weighted blanket but without overheating at night. Its glass bead fill is hypoallergenic, while the cover is machine washable (the inner layer is spot clean only.) While the MSRP on this Gravity weighted blankets has fallen from a premium $250 to $189, there's now a further $80 off, which brings the price down to $109. Like the Layla, this blanket also comes in 20 and 25lbs and are also on sale. This Gravity blanket is already sold out in the white and grey, and I suspect the blue won't be far behind them.
