I've been scouring the Labor Day savings to find the biggest sleep deals for smaller budgets, and with offers like the Siena 8" Memory Foam Mattress from only $109 at Amazon, there are some good options to choose from today.

In fact, I've seen savings on many of the best mattresses you can buy online for every budget. At under $300 for a queen, the mattresses below are my ideal for a guest room, a dorm room... or anyone who needs a new bed without spending much.

I have seen this deal a few times in 2025 but it tends to be short-lived, so you don't want to wait to shop.

2. Brooklyn Bedding 14" Gel Memory Foam Hybrid Mattress: queen was $328 now $288 at Walmart
This Brooklyn Bedding hybrid mattress offers 14 inches of plush cushioning and spring support, all at just $288 for a queen at Walmart (10 and 12 inch models are also available, at $248 and $268 for a queen, respectively.) Reviews indicate a softer feel so I predict this is a good mattress for side sleepers, while the luxury-looking build means it's an impressive choice for a guest room. We've tested Brooklyn Bedding mattresses before and they rate among some of the best mattresses in a box you can buy this year — while this budget pick is unlikely to offer the same durability as more expensive models, the reliable brand backing is a mark of quality.

There's a big line-up of Tulo mattresses at Mattress Firm but for the best blend of support and value, I recommend the 10-inch Green Tea Memory Foam Mattress. 10-inches is a suitable mattress height for an adult and at just $299.99 for a queen in the Mattress Firm sale (was $789.99) it's a cost-effective choice. Reviews indicating a softer feel that should deliver cushioning to side sleepers and you have a 120-night sleep trial to test it out. With a twin XL only $223.99 (was $589.99) this is a great mattress for a college student looking to upgrade their dorm bed before the semester gets underway.
