I use this blender to make smoothies after every workout — here's why I love it
I’ve been using the Beast Mighty 850 Plus blender for over two months now, and I’m ready to declare it as one of the best blenders I have ever used.
I even threw out my old-reliable Nutribullet because the Beast simply made it redundant. It’s taken pride of place in my kitchen and is used almost daily. But one of my favorite uses is to make a post-workout smoothie.
I love using this as a way to boost recovery, after I’ve finished a Pilates session or a trip to the gym. It means I can easily and quickly increase protein intake at the same time as getting all my vitamins for the day. And it also gives me a major energy boost when I start flagging.
The sleek design of the Beast Mighty 850 Plus blender looks good on the countertop, and its powerful performance from the 850-watt motor delivers smooth, chunk-free blends every single time. It comes with multiple blend cup sizes, making it perfect for a variety of tasks, and even has lids and straps to turn these cups into on-the-go flasks.
Fast and effective
The 850-watt blender is super fast. It takes less than 10 seconds for me to whip up a quick smoothie with frozen berries, banana, and protein powder to get the perfect boost of energy.
The convenience of being able to make a smoothie so quickly has seriously upgraded the way I recover after the gym. I can come home and mix something together that's loaded with all the good stuff I need to get me feeling good for the rest of the day.
And despite how quickly the blender takes care of tougher ingredients (like seeds and dates) there are no lumps or chunks left over thanks to the ridges in the blend cups that continuously direct the contents towards the blades.
Super foods with super convenience
Part of the reason I used to miss out on my smoothies and snacks after working out is that I didn’t have time. But not only is this blender super fast, but it’s convenient too. Since I sometimes go for a run before starting work, I would need to rush out the door before I could eat or drink anything.

With the Beast, I don’t need to worry about finishing the smoothie before I leave the house. This is because the blend cups come with lids and straws, so the smoothie can go with you for the rest of the day.
In the Plus version of this blender, you get three different-sized blend cups and lids, so you can even make the smoothie before you need it and store it in the fridge for later.
Eating well
A solid blender is a great way to make sure you are eating well. It makes meal prepping with sauces for pasta, dips for snacks, and soups incredibly simple.
It allows me to maximize my nutrient intake quickly and easily. This simple addition to the kitchen has ensured I have more energy every single day because I can make almost anything from scratch and know exactly what I’m putting in my body.
