Jenga is the classic block-balancing game where the first player to make the tower topple loses. A great game for families and kids aged six and up, the box includes 54 wood blocks and an easy-to-use stacking sleeve to help players build the tower. What's even better is that you don't need another person to play Jenga with — try going solo and test your skills!
Settlers of Catan is arguably one of the best board games of all time. This highly addictive strategy game for three to four players turns you into hard-nosed settlers, competing to conquer an island. Collect resource cards to build roads, village and cities, but collecting them heavily relies on dice rolls and trading with other players. Oh, and there's a resource-stealing robber too to spice things up. On average, one game takes up to 90 minutes. Are you up to the challenge?
If, like me, you've sunk hundreds of hours into CDPR's hit role-playing video game, you'll love the Gangs of Night City board game. It's similar to Risk as you and up to three other players compete to conquer the ruthless streets of Night City. You need to be part of one of four gangs, each offering different customization options for diverse strategies and experiences. There are multiple replayable endings, and every choice impacts the narrative. And you can meet characters from Netflix's Edgerunners too — the perfect board game to accompany the show's renewal!
This is the board game for fans of the Alien movie franchise. You and up to four other players play as Nostromo crew members — Ripley, Brett, Dallas, Lambert, and Parker — to move through the ship, gather supplies, craft items and complete objectives to evade the Alien. This game is for strategy-minded folks, and those who like a challenge. No two games are alike as it's entirely up to you and your crew how you play each game.
Okay, if there's one thing I'm buying this October Prime Day, it might just be Creature Crash: The Capybara Balancing Game. Designed for two or more players, you take turns to roll the dice and place that number of capybaras on the tree balance board. If it topples on your turn, you're out! Sounds simple enough but I can imagine it gets quite hard. Maybe add a spin to the game, such as, the outgoing player has to do a dare or tell a truth.
Ah, Guess Who, a classic. If you have never played Guess Who before, what are you doing?! It's simple: You and another player have a board each, featuring many character tiles that can be flipped down, and are assigned a random character from a pile of cards. You must then ask "yes" or "no" questions to decipher the character your opponent has. It's a lot of fun and can get very competitive too. One time in boarding school, one of my dormmates got so mad that she threw the board across the room. We all burst out laughing.
Want a game that packs art and poetry into a fun board game? Then Asmodee's Harmonies is for you. They say never judge a book by its cover but, come on, look how pretty the box looks! In this game, you create your own dreamlike world, combining landscapes and animals to earn victory points. You must create a "perfect world" where animals live in harmony with nature. This is the perfect board game for those who want to kick back and relax, and marvel at the stunning artwork on the board and the cards.

If you don't know of the card game that inspired a Netflix show, you're seriously missing out. Exploding Kittens might sound off-putting, but it's actually a wildly popular, family-friendly card game where strategy and humor collide. Perfect for game nights, it’s quick to learn and entertaining. Protect your kittens, avoid explosions and outsmart your opponents.
This one's for the fam: What Do You Meme? went viral on social media a couple of years ago, and the family edition of the popular card game keeps kids from being subjected to crude language. It includes 300 caption cards and 108 photo cards and the goal is simple: combine them and the person whose go it is picks the funniest answer as the winner! Warning: tears may emerge due to laughter.
My partner and I play P for Pizza on cozy date nights. It's a fast-paced card game where the aim is to shout out a word that links the letter on one card to the category on another (on a pile in the middle of the table). Think: a food that starts with P, a bald celebrity whose name begins with B, a stringed instrument that starts with G, and so on. You need to be quick to add a slice to your pile, and the first one to form a 'pizza slice' wins.
New Phone, Who Dis? is a hilarious card game from the makers of What Do You Meme? It's easy to play. A player draws a sent or "inbox" card while the rest of the group competes to play the funniest "reply| card. The judging player then awards a point to the funniest one. This game includes 150 "inbox" cards and 300 "reply" cards, and it's heaps of fun for the entire family.
