Chase DeMoor vs Andrew Tate is a fight for the Misfits boxing heavyweight title and could scarcely be more controversial. The presence of Tate – a former kickboxer and now self-proclaimed misogynist influencer – means the bout finds a new home on conservative video hosting platform Rumble, with regular Misfits outlet DAZN choosing to pass. That's the divisive nature of Tate and not something a boxing debut for him will make go away.

A one-time NFL try-out and reality TV star famous for Too Hot to Handle, DeMoor has been pretty active in the influencer boxing scene since his first fight in 2022. The 29-year-old from Eatonville, Washington, became Misfits boxing heavyweight champion back in May by beating Canadian mixed martial artist Tank Tolman via a third-round TKO and defended the title four months later against Natan Marcoń. DeMoor has plenty of rounds in the Misfits game under his belt, but does he have the dog in him?
A prominent and controversial voice in misogynist so-called manosphere, Tate is a four-time former professional kickboxing world champion but this will be his first boxing bout and he'll be unable to use any of the kicking and grappling moves in a six-round fight with three-minute rounds. The fight is so controversial because of Tate, who is awaiting trial in Romania for trafficking seven women into his porn business with brother Tristan and faces a civil case in the U.K. next year for sexual violence against four women. He has also been accused of rape. Tate and his brother deny all charges.
