Tim Burton's long-awaited sequel to the cult classic '80s flick, "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice", reunites Lydia Deetz (Winona Ryder), now a successful paranormal TV host, with the chaotic menace himself (Michael Keaton). When a family tragedy drags the Deetzes back to Winter River, Lydia's moody teenage daughter Astrid (Jenna Ortega) accidentally cracks open the portal to the afterlife. That means Beetlejuice, the ghost with the most, is back. Monica Bellucci stars as his soul-sucking ex-wife on a vengeful warpath, and Beej gets to go on a return tour to seal her away before she drains the souls of all the dead.

‘Bring It On' (2000)

This classic cheerleading comedy is a hilarious blast from the past. It's more than worth a rewatch now, nearly 30 years later, and even better for a first-time viewing. Kirsten Dunst stars as Torrance Shipman, freshly minted captain of San Diego's national champion Rancho Carne Toros, until she discovers that her predecessor built the squad's entire trophy case on routines stolen from the East Compton Clovers. With Gabrielle Union, Eliza Dushku and Jesse Bradford rounding out the cast, what might have originally been a fluffy teen romp is instead a surprisingly sharp comedy about privilege, originality, and what it takes to be the best. Oh, and endlessly quotable lines you might be reciting to your own kids in the next 30 years.

Experience the gloriously cheesy live-action "He-Man" movie that an entire generation watched on VHS until the tape wore out before you check out the new version. Dolph Lundgren stars as He-Man, locked in eternal battle with the skull-faced Skeletor (Frank Langella) for control of the planet Eternia. After Skeletor seizes Castle Grayskull, He-Man and his allies escape through a dimension-hopping device that dumps them in 1980s suburban California, where two teenagers (a pre-Friends Courteney Cox and Robert Duncan McNeill) accidentally find the key and get yanked into the cosmic crossfire.
